damn I wish SO MUCH we had another ending for his questline. I finished Summerset quest 1 y.ago but I'm still so frustrated of the loss of my sweet old Mer. I wish a better fate for him, WHY we don't have another option like save his live and study peacefully in Psijic Order 😭😭😭✨️

OC Family Trees

Elur's Family Tree (So Far)

This family tree will need to be updated in the future for two reasons:

1.) I am planning a prequel where her grandparents may be named and depicted.

2.) I plan on playing as her Breton grandchild in TES 6 one day, but as that character has not been designed yet she is not on the tree.

Explanations:

In my canon, Skyrim functions on an outdated method of legally classing races (based on the outdated data from "Notes on Racial Phylogeny"). Children born within Skyrim's borders are classed as the race of their mother, regardless of their appearance or what the race of the father is. This is why both of Elur's children are labeled as "Bosmer".

Rhuna, the eldest, hardly looks like a mer at all. She looks like a Nord with angled ears and almond-shaped eyes, no other mer racial features on her at all. Because of this, she much prefers to be called a "Half-Nord". Ariston, her brother, hardly favors his Nord side and is comfortable being referred to as just a Bosmer.
