According to the in-game book Racial Phylogeny, the child or children from an interracial pairing will almost always inherit the mother’s race, which is possibly why persons of mixed-blood are almost unheard of in Tamriel.

A brief timeline to illustrate when each of the three Aldmeri Dominions were established, and how long each of them spanned throughout time. The original Dominion likely did not span all the way until 2E 830, when the second Dominion was established, but it is not known when it was dissolved or had collapsed. The second Dominion was the shortest-lived, cut short by Tiber Septim’s conquest at the end of 2E. And the third, and most contemporary Aldmeri Dominion was established over an era after its previous, using the chaos and destruction of the Oblivion Crisis to establish a foothold in the Summerset Isles, and eventually its surrounding neighbors.

A brief timeline to illustrate how long each of the Cyrodiilic empires spanned throughout time. The Alessian Empire lasted the longest, spanning two millennia. Even accounting for the Middle Dawn, it lasted several hundred years longer than the second and third empires, which can each be split into two distinct time periods. By 4E 201, the third empire is a shadow of its former self and its future uncertain.

It is rumored that Shalidor was the first to separate magic and spells into distinct schools, while some say that it was Vanus Galerion, founder of the Mages Guild. But, the first known written record of a proposal to establish distinct schools of magic in the Mages Guild was written by Gabrielle Benele of the Daggerfall guildhall sometime in mid 2E, who based it on a system that was used at the Shad Astula academy in Deshaan.
At their core, the schools of magic are not absolute and are simply artificial categories to aid in the classification and organization of magic and spells. In fact, some types of magic and spells may fit into multiple schools, and there are types of magic that aren’t encompassed by them, such as alchemy and enchanting, that are magic nonetheless.
Over the eras, the schools themselves have changed, with two having been removed and consolidated into other schools by 4E. The school of thaumaturgy was dissolved before the end of 3E, and the school of mysticism some time in 4E.

Language is innate to the Dov, the Dragons. To them, to be powerful is to be right; a verbal argument is a battle.
The language of the Dragons, commonly called Dovahzul by fans, has an alphabet the consists of 34 letters (excluding C), of which 20 are consonants and 14 can be considered vowels. Each letter has a rune with an angular, claw-like appearance, implying that the runes were designed so that they could be written by a Dragon’s claw.
To Dragons, their language is inherently magical. To mortals, years, perhaps decades of training is required to harness some of the magic of the Dragon Language in the form of the Thu’um, or the Voice. A Dragonborn has the advantage of being able to learn Words of Power instantly; however, they still need to find and learn them first, unlike the Dragons, who know them intrinsically.
Note: while the letter C has a glyph, officially, it is not used in the Dragon Language, and only appears in transliterations from The Elder Scrolls: Legends.
On the graphics, the letters surrounded by slashes are phonemic transcriptions in IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), which provide a more accurate representation of the pronunciation of a letter.
For help with IPA, see the IPA Pulmonic Consonants Chart with Audio and IPA Vowels Chart with Audio on Wikipedia.
