this is seemingly different than other systems but when we arent fronting, or close to front, or like, within proximity of front... it almosg feels like we stop existing. we just say we're sleeping. we dont have an inner world that alters walk around in when not fronting. some alters have different knowledge or memories or awareness of things and i think they can technically think things even when not in front. and i mean we have interaction between alters sometimes but it seems to always happen in proximity to front.
