tested positive for THC after 2 months. I'm worried
So long story short, I was arrested on Jan 11th for possession and now I'm on a CRO program. Today I went for my first drug test and tested positive for THC even though I haven't touched or been around any weed since Jan 12th (last day I smoked a little from my pipe before handing everything off to clean my apartment of any traces of weed). My next test is on the 18th and I'm afraid that I will test positive again if it stayed in my system this long. They said it would go back to the courts if I tested positive again.
So the sample they got was a small amount. I have a shy bladder and was barely able to get anything to come out after 10 minutes of being in the bathroom and having to hear them talk right outside the door along with being pressured to piss in the cup..
Some details about me: I smoked every day and was high from when I got up, when I got back from school, to the point where I went to bed. I did this for at least 5 to 6 years. Two years ago I weighed 204lb. but now I'm up to 250lb. and I'm around 6 feet tall. I live a very sedentary lifestyle just watching shows, playing games, eating what I enjoy, and doing school work. I never exercise or go out with friends (if I had any). I usually drink on the weekends and watch my shows. I don't drink beer, only vodka (usually around 7 to 8 double shots). But since the CRO program said that I can't drink any alcohol, I'll be abstaining from that also.
If this does go to court bc of another positive test, here's somewhat of what I would tell them.
I have reasons for quitting besides avoiding a federal charge on my record. I've been living off a settlement that I got 5 years ago and in the next year the rest of the money will be gone due to school expenses and just the cost of living. I need to get a job in a certain field that goes towards my major and that job would require me to stay clean anyways. I've wanted to quit for the past month but this arrest really pushed me hard to stay away from smoking for the forseeable future. If I got a federal offense on my record, that means that everything that I went to college for would be wasted and my life would be in shambles.
This is really stressing me out because they seem to think anyone can be clean after 30 days but I'm clearly not the case for that. I've abstained for 58 days and still tested positive. I'm scared that the judge will have the same mindset as these CRO workers had and will think I'm just lying about staying clean. Starting today I'm doing cardio, trying to keep a lean diet, and drinking a lot of water. I have also ordered naicin and b12 vitamin supplements to help try and detox myself. I've also ordered some at home drug tests to test myself and see what the results are. Being that my next test is in basically 5 days, I feel like these detoxing and exercising will not be enough to push the rest of it out of my system.
I really need some words of advice here because I'm really on edge about this and I'm super worried that all of this will go to worst case scenario where they convict me even though I've truly kept clean.
