Sorry for no art recently, but y'all have to bear witness to fixation that is: continuously thinking about strider parallels until I die and/or spontaneously combust.

I think about these two panels an unhealthily amount of times per week, thanks to my friends observation that LoHaC is on the same side as Davesprite. I read into minor shit like this way too often and end up hating everything this comic has to offer in terms of referencing it's own plot countless amounts of times, whether intentional or not. Every time I think I'm free of the dastardly clutches of the emotional turmoil that is Homestuck; it ropes me back into it's vicious torture labyrinth.

I think in lieu of recent events people need to be reminded that you don't need to share an identity with a character to relate to their journey, period. This ESPECIALLY extends to queer characters. It's true that we all have our own unique experiences and it would be unfair to treat us all as a monolith - but there is something to be said that amongst ALL these differences there's still overlap. And that's okay. And that's beautiful. Idgaf if me and june egbert are on completely different ends of the trans spectrum that's my hg and wherever she goes I GO. AMEN HALLELUJAH.
