Mariano Bertuchi (Spanish, 1884–1955) - Tétouan
i’m not hating (i am) but whose terrible idea was it to domesticate palm trees in north morocco and cut down the beautiful cork oaks. their air reeks of tourism and the packaging of those old claire’s journals with furry covers. that raggedy excuse of a plant checks the boxes of both tacky and capitalist. lining them up on the grassy strip next to the highway like some kind of pathetic welfare. i receive 1 damage everytime i leave the house and witness them on these holy rif grounds. bring back the weeping willows and take this atrocity away from my beloved north african city. i beg of you.
Tetouan
Embarking on an adventure deep within the heart of Tetouan's mountains, I stumbled upon this breathtaking view from inside a majestic cave. 🏞️ The landscape unfolds before me, revealing the city of Tetouan nestled below, while the sky stretches endlessly above. 🌄 From the rugged formations to the lush greenery, every element speaks of the wonders of nature. 🌿☁️
Out and about in Tetouan.
