(1/3) 1. I really like your character designs when you get to design interesting characters (ex. idol versions of OCs, CDC), how your coloring tends to have a certain shine to it, and the way you draw hands. I enjoy the general sense of cheerfulness I get from your art. For what I like least, I think that on rare occasion your multi-person compositions can have some awkward/non-realistic posing in them, that I've noticed.
2/3) 2. More variety in face shape/body type/nose shape. Maybe this is just me, but most of your guys tend to fall into the cute/handsome spectrum to me; it's rare to see the guys you draw fall into the "hot/sexy" genre. 3. I think you have a distinct style you shouldn't lose. I guess the first artist that comes to mind is Matsuri Hino for her more subtle shading (for example many different colors in hair to show texture/blend) and ability to inject sex appeal into even her "cute" pieces.
(3/3)4. My favorite piece of art is Idol Internet Trend, purely selfishly. But I really love the design/pose/outfit/expression of the piece. If that piece doesn't count since I own the character, then the recent piece of Susana because of how fabulously her hair was colored.5. More dark-skinned characters. More setting variety for characters (eg. not "everyday" or fantasy-ish). More body diversity for characters. PHEW! Anyway that's it; hope it's at least a bit helpful!
1. Another mention design, thank you! I really like designing characters, so I’m glad people are digging them <3Aww I *love* coloring*, so I’m very happy you like it!I never thought somebody would like the way I draw hands :O I usually reference my own, haha, I think I can still improve those! >o<And, yes, my multi-person compositions are weird, I am not very good at them and I need to practice them more! :)
2. Well, that is less about polishing and more about adding more variety to what I do, but I see your point :) I’m slowly trying to vary my body types! I do have to make an effort on noses, though, I usually just draw a line and call it a day xDThe guys (and girls) I draw being cute is actually my bias, I like cute guys, I don’t like hot/sexy guys myself :P I don’t like hot/sexy things in general, to be honest xD
3. Uhm, Matsuri Hino is not an artist I'm particularly fond of, but I can see what you mean about the shading! I shall practice some of that in the future ^^
4. Hahahah xD That one came out super cool, though! And I really like that piece of Susana myself, also because it’s been a while since I drew her and it’s the first time of self-indulgent art I’ve done in a while ^^
5. Dark skinned characters is something I’ve been trying to do, little by little! Growing up with a lot of orange-to-white people around and only seeing darker skinned people on tv doens’t really inject my subconscious with them, so I have to make a conscious effort to include them, which I’m trying to do lately :) Also painting dark skin is super fun :3The settings are also my biases, I do like every-day and fantasy the most :’D (I don’t really like sci-fi/futurstic stuff, for example, haha) But I’ll give it a try to draw other kind of characters/settings in the future :)Body type diversity is something I really want to keep trying! I’ve beene xperimenting a bit with my monthly Patreon sprites and it’s been quite fun! I’ll keep pushing little by little ^^
Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer my questions, ti was really insightful and helpful, thank you very much! :D
