I wonder if we’ll ever have a DA4 companion who is or once was a Tevinter Templar. We know sparingly of them other then Dorian’s snarky comments. I’d like to know more of them and how they operate just a little. I find them interesting.

Hey, so, I’ve been thinking about the possibility of a Poly Love Interest for Dragon Age 4 and I’ve been writing/sketching ideas for what that might look like and I narrowed it down to a Tevinter Female Templar and her Male Magister Paramour and a bunch of other ideas.

But, any Poly relationship is going to have some Same-Sex action going on so I tweeted Patrick Weekes about how Tevinter might react to such a relationship even though the possibility of children was still available.

@InkDagger Poorly, as a general rule. They’re all about bloodline purity and are more conservative overall, especially in noble families.

@InkDagger No idea whether you’d be acceptable, but if it lets you be happy, then maybe acceptability can go gather some elfroot.

So, here’s some more insight into Tevinter society.

God I hope the possibility of a Mage-Templar Poly Relationship in the next game is interesting enough for the writers! I also have this image in my head of the Female!Tevinter!Templar being voiced by Gina Torres. THAT would be super cool.

BTW, “Go Gather Some Elfroot” is my new “Fuck Off” phrase.

In the waste-bin, along with many other copies sits a crumpled page

You do know how this looks, right? The rumors haven't even been confirmed but there is already talk of the ‘forbidden romance’ of the ‘ladies of the summer kingdoms’.   I cannot say that I don’t find the stories romantic but This is beside the point.

I considered ending our involvement. It would be easier that way. I could not bear even the thought. The fact of the matter is, my Lady, I cannot image life here without you anymore. I am committed to this, To us. Come what may.

Maybe this won’t last and I will look a fool for even saying this. But I certainly hope it does. Until that time, or until forever, I am yours.
