Just a little doodle I did. Practice, practice, practice!

Full disclosure, this is based off of a piece done by the amazing @hatsuraikun. I didn’t trace anything, I just eye-balled it. I’m not confident enough to completely draw my own ideas just yet. But I’m getting there.

This last little while I’ve been taking an art class. The Prof is super engaging and positive, and he’s been getting us to try new things in and out of class. I haven’t drawn anything since 2010, mostly a result of work and personal commitments. Plus I never felt very confident at it. However I follow a lot of artists here on Tumblr, and one of them, the absolutely fantastic @corinnamariedrawsstuff, has given me that extra inspiration needed to try and create something on my own for the first time in six years. 

Technically this is my own interpretation of a stunning sketch she did a while back, and I hope she’s not offended by that. Her work is amazing, and I encourage anyone who follows me to go give her a follow. Trust me, I plan on branching out and finding my own style once I get enough courage.

Yes, yes, I know, it would look better if the paper was blank rather than have dots on it. However that’s the only type of paper I had at the time in my journal. Apologies.
