The blast was so catastrophic, it destroyed Marty Marak's home, killed his dog and leveled houses for blocks around.
In times of crisis, in times of disaster and pain and sadness, we must remember those who put everything on the line for their fellow man. I give this man the highest medal of honor (figuratively) for putting the need to help others, and his town, above his own personal tragedies. It is truly remarkable and inspiring.
