Is it weird I haven’t stepped foot in a mall in well over...well dang, I have no idea how long it’s been. . Had to hit up another Apple store around Houston to get a few USB-C dongles so I can go direct with other gear. The Apple store last night was a stand alone in the midst of a huge upscale outdoor shopping area. I went straight in from the street. Took all of five minutes, literally, from the time I walked across the street from my vehicle, picked up my online order, and was walking back out. . It was odd enough just being in the city, and Houston, at just under three million, is the fourth largest city in the US. . This afternoon took a lot longer. I wound my way through store and food court, bright lights and low hum of chatter and kept wondering if any of the hundreds of people I saw ever get into the woods or on the water. Or camp and experience nature any more than I step foot into the unnatural world of vast parking lots and mass commerce. . I found Apple, got dongled up, and wound my way through crowds back outside, wondering if it matters that they don’t, or that I don’t. . The Texas license plate, second pic, popped out in answer. . I think too much. It’s a danger of being a tinkerer and thinker, a creative problem solver, an insatiable info-hound that wants to know the why and how about almost everything. . Sometimes all I need is LOL~NO. . They may have meant something else with their vanity plate. My mother used to sign her emails LOL, thinking it stood for Lots Of Love. The NO could be for New Orleans instead of NOLA but they didn’t have enough room. There is a heart there too. Maybe it’s on all that version of TX vanity plates. . See. Thinking too much.
