“When I bought the Texas Rowing Center in 2002, we just did rowing.  Rowing is my passion, but it's not a very good core business model—high expenditures and low income. We fixed that problem by adding paddling: first we added kayaks, then canoes and finally standup paddle boards (SUPs). Today we are the largest provider of SUP rentals in the world with over 300 boards. There are times when all 300 boards are on the river at one time!”
