Brilliant idea, I wonder if they can combine it with medication? It was hard as hell to get my mom's father to take his meds at the end.
You can add liquid medication to gel but the pills should be finely crushed (use two tablespoons) and preferably put inside a fruit mousse or a small amount of jam to mask the bitter taste...moreover, the perception of sweet taste remains almost unaltered even when the taste buds have atrophied, @texasuberalles.
However, remember that many drugs must not be crushed or exposed to the air (see the data sheet), so it’s better to prefer other pharmaceutical forms (for example, injectables or in patches).

The world does seem to be full of people who apparently think “freedom of speech” means “everyone should be forced to listen to their bullshit”, and boy HOWDY do they get their knickers in a twist if anyone dares to just walk the hell away from their damage.
Also amusing is how they equate inviting a racist (or any extremist) to give a lecture with a free exchange of ideas or open debate. A lecture is by design one-sided, and inviting someone to give a lecture is tacit endorsement of their speech. You don’t get to play innocent, Niall Ferguson.

The DNC were the ones who forced a Clinton/Trump choice after refusing the entire time to take the tiny-handed orangutan seriously as a candidate just because he was so cartoonishly ridiculous, and refusing to support Sanders even though he was clearly the candidate The Kids wanted– it’s a self-inflicted wound, but they managed to shoot the rest of us at the same time.
Most of the swing states that swung to Trump went to Clinton in the primaries. There’s no telling that the Clinton supporters in those states wouldn’t have stayed home from the general election in a similar fit of pique because they felt Clinton was “abandoned” by the DNC for an outsider upstart with no interest in campaigning for down-ballot races.
Either way, congratulations to the 44% of Americans who stayed home and handed the country to the 25% that went Trump. You changed history forever, regardless of which candidate you liked. Solidarity is dead, and between that and staying home for similar reasons in 2014, the Supreme Court is lost for at least another generation.

It’s the same indignant fury you see when you block/blacklist/ignore neo-nazis and MRAs and terfs and climate change deniers and other ignorant shitbags; how DARE you not sit there and listen to their shitbaggery! How very DARE! you must just be AFRAID of a DEBATE!
Yep.

That’s definitely a Myconid Ichthys; it’s pointing the direction to a Toadstool Church.
Ooooooooh! I’ll keep an eye out for fungal worshipers.

I don’t think all the ~~Blue Line~~ bullshit is NECESSARILY racist or fascist; it’s a more garden variety absolutist authoritarianism at heart, it’s just that law enforcement tends to attract shitty bullies and abusers, and shitty bullies and abusers have a much higher incidence of racism and fascist ideologizing.
Sure, but when grown in American soil, authoritarianism picks up the native racism, and the fascism that rides its coattails. Hence the sequence of flags shown. YMMV elsewhere.
The critical part, though, is that the bad apples rot the whole barrel. The “good” cops keep their heads down while the police union fights like hell to keep the bad cops on the force. That’s the overall function of the “blue line” and its code of silence.
I wonder if it’s intentionally symbolic that the blue stripe is between black stripes. Showing the flag (as a proxy for the nation) as fundamentally black and white is definitely bothersome.
