Hell of a weekend

I drew a thing for the guy I'm dating. He works at the Renaissance Faire as the king of the barbarians, a Maori named Rapatoa. I figured if he was a pokemon trainer, he'd have a blastoise.

I've never drawn tattoos like this before, especially not Ta Moko, and I was really pleased with how it came out. I knew I wanted the shell to be COVERED in it. I really hope I did them justice. I used so many reference pictures for this lol.

Okay, so I had way too much fun wearing this costume yesterday... 😆👸👑🏰🌿❤️ The whole outfit was made by my best friend Erin, and she did my hair and makeup too!!! Somebody hire her! 😁

Mr Glee and myself caught the plague, so we slept in and are heading home. We had a full day at the Ren Fest, though. Only downside is I didn’t wear my hat.

Note to self: always wear the hat.

I finally got myself a pair of vinyl fairie wings. Maybe I’ll finally finish that fairy corset and skirt I started like 3 years ago.

Or trash it and start on a fresh one, since I’ve gained weight since then. Have to look it over and see if it’s salvageable.
