I Made a Game!
Well... kind of. I finally got around to making a choose your own adventure game, and I have it currently published on Itch.io
The link is below. This is currently only a demo but there are seven endings to find and three routes that aren't finished.
Everything has always been your choice.
The Honest Pitch for SweetDream
No overselling: SweetDream lets you build a companion who feels like yours, then talk, call, and share moments with her in a way that genuinely feels real. That's the purpose, and it delivers.
The reason to choose it over the rest is quality, deep character creation, natural and emotionally intelligent chat, beautiful photos and videos, human-sounding voice and calls, and privacy that's respected. If you're going to try one, make it sweetdream.ai.

My first game out now!
So, I made a text based game. It's not very long, but I'm pretty proud of it for just starting out. Let me know what you think of it!
Cw: suicide, blood and gore, death
ADVENTURE #2:
You wake up on a beach. The sun is hot and your skin is dry from the salty spray. You sit up and look around.
To your East is the open ocean, the waves are mild and the sky is clear.
To your South is a pod of Rockskippers languishing in the midmorning sun, the beach extends further but the Rockskippers block the majority of your view.
To your West is open beach with a small pathway wandering over a small hill.
To your North is open beach, the waves crash mildly upon the rocks. Seabirds are investigating something but it's hard to make out what.
ok no idea how many people will see this but im curious
do you play text-based adventure games?

Text Based Adventure - Midterm
For our midterm, we each completed a text based adventure story on the social media platform, TikTok, in which those playing the game would read along the story and pick one of two options to progress the plot and reach a unique ending depending upon the specific choices made by the player. For my story, I had the player wake up in an abandoned mansion. Your only goal: to escape.
Pictured above are some images from the initial decision tree, which was my framework for the creation of the game; all of the text included in the game is in the decision tree. This is because, in order to prototype the game as effectively as possible prior to creating it, I wanted to ensure just text alone could paint an image of the scene without the assistance of images. The tree is expansive and encompasses three final endings alongside a plethora of dead ends as a result of incorrect choices. One of these final endings is a result of the very first decision the player has to make; my goal was to imply that every action has a consequence, even if you may think you have selected the correct answer.
In the creation of the TikTok story, I ran into some technical issues; the biggest one being that my account was banned from commenting indefinitely, presumably due to their anti-spam procedure, which hindered the entire structure of the game.
CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE: ESCAPE It's up to you to make it out alive; every decision matters. In the comments, select the reply with the an
