So uh... I spilled milk tea all over my desk and drawing tablet so. I unplugged it immediately and wiped as quickly as I can. It 'looks' dry, it 'feels' dry but I'm gonna...leave it unplugged for a few days...

Personal Art Attitude Tips
While I may not be versed in giving actual art advice, I do feel the attitude towards art is also important to help develop it. These are just personal tips that helped me over the years and I hope even one of them will help you as well.
It's hard to stress how much time and practice is needed to get better so I've compiled some improvements that I've experienced myself. Hopefully it will also keep this list interesting as you read through.
1 - Artstyle can change gradually or dramatically and it's okay.
2 - It's okay to emulate other people's style, to use reference, guides and tutorials. In fact, it’s made to be used so please do!
3 - Practice, practice, practice.
4 - Being envious of other's art is fine if it fuels you to do better.
5 - Accept both criticism and praise even though it's hard.
6 - It's ok to challenge yourself, but always know your limits.
7 - Getting out of your comfort zone may feel like a step back but it's actually a first step, just in a different direction. But also know that it's okay to stay in your comfort zone and develop it more until you’re ready for something new.
8 - Take time for yourself. If drawing isn't your job yet, don't stress over it. It's not good to work on something until you're hurt, or if the mood is not right. It will only make you feel worse. Pause, and come back later.
9 - Surround yourself with positive vibes.
10 - Criticism isn't an attack because you have the choice to not accept and use it.
11 - It's okay to not love how your drawing turned out but don't make it a reason to stop.
12 - It's okay to love your drawing even though you feel like it's lacking.
13 - Inspiration is everywhere but it isn't above motivation. Develop a desire to draw if you're looking to do it long-term.
14 - Artblock isn't the end of the world. There are many ways around it and it's okay to succumb to it once in a while. Sometimes it just means you need to recharge.
15 - You don't have to rush. It's not a race. Everyone improves at a different pace.
16 - Find what works for you because it's different with everyone.
17 - You're always better than you think you are.
I am still far from where I want to be but I can feel comfortable knowing that I'm getting somewhere and that does help to keep me motivated.
This is just something I came up with (with help from my friends, @lacertae-dreamscape and @xaikra) in one sitting so there is definitely more out there. Add yours if you want^^ Heck, make your own with your improvements!
If you’ve enjoyed any of my comics, whether it be the ongoing tododeku body switch au
or the shorter one pages
you may find yourself wondering if you’d find similar enjoyment in my other comics but find yourself too uncertain about plundering my long and disorganized comic tag.
Good news!
I have a List of Comics that contains over a 100+ comics I’ve done divided by series and listed with characters, ships and content warnings.
You may find some unseen treasures!
It’s also a good way to pass the time between my erratic updating
Give the list a try whenever you can^^/
I had plans to do more for the giveaway because there were a lot of entries and it was fun for me to do but I have to play a bit of catch up on a few things before I leave for my hometown.
I really want to thank you all for following me and participating in that giveaway, I sure wish I could do more.
Hey there! I’ve just gotten back from my week long trip to my hometown. I had a blast hanging out with my family, hiding from relatives and eating an unhealthy amount of stuff. I got sick again too, fun stuff as usual.
But! Now that I’ve taken a proper time off where I didn’t work at all, I’m ready to get into the swing of things again!
First of all!!!
I need to relearn how to draw.
Prepare for some wonky ass drawings while I try to find my groove again.
Sorry, the remaining two giveaway prizes might take a while longer to get done due to many reasons.
