Who's good at decoding text? I need some creative thinkers. Nancy Drew Clue Crew, I'm looking at you. Here's the message...
Pi, tatt he bot? Tom oft hep it!
My only guess here is Pit at the bottom of the pit. This is a good lead, but there is still the extra comma, question mark, and exclamation point. I've been working on this for almost ten hours, guys. I'm stuck.
I've tried...
-Offsetting alphabet ciphers
-Substitution ciphers
-Transposition ciphers
-Computer keyboard ciphers
-Changing to numbers (Coordinates)
-Anagrams
etc, etc, etc.
NO ONE HAS SOLVED THIS FOR THREE MONTHS.
Possible leads:
It is VERY possible there is a link to anything regarding the Civil War or more specifically The Battle of Fredericksburg, as this scavenger hunt is held in historic Fredericksburg.
There is a Pitt street in Fredericksburg, but the only thing on Pit Street is the grave of Mary Washington, which I've already checked.
