WELL, Have you ever come across those posts where someone says something like "he/she asked me out and when I rejected him/her, he/she told me I was fat, ugly and that he/she didn't even want me"? Because I have. However, now I have my own little story, and a post to share here. So there's this guy that has asked me out so many times and I swear he was obsessed with me for like 3 months or so. Well, yesterday out of nowhere he just called me a hoe. Like full on. No reasoning or anything, he just said I'm a fucked up hoe and he wouldn't stop saying it. (Keep in mind that I've been with like one guy 😂😂) Things got ugly very fast but my best friends had my back so 😂. He was proven wrong, but still wouldn't admit he was just salty cause I wouldn't go out with him. Like, the kid that was obsessed with me called me a fucked up hoe because I rejected him. I swear these people's logics 😂😂
if your bored and wanna read some drama and tell me who you think is right, it’s under the cut :3
Okay, first my message to her (it was through text at like 1 am) we had a couple message before this but this one and the next one are the real important ones.
You don’t get it. The legit reason I responded with “yeah” is called matching your energy. What you put in is what you take out and when you are not giving me real, positive feedback that doesn’t have to be long but should at least be a sentence or two then what you’re gonna get back is a snippy one-word reply just like what you’ve been sending. It’s called capitalism. Sorry.
And yeah, it’s kinda hard to be motivated to write when I try to tell you about my new idea and you just walk away mid-sentence. Or immediately try to find a way to combat my idea. You’re always looking for ways to be negative about my fanfic ideas whether it’s ignoring me completely or telling me I have a stupid idea. I can’t count the number of times I have thought up a new fanfic idea that I’ve been super excited to write and want to share with you, only for you to reply with “okay” and leave it at that. You’re supposed to be my partner-in-crime and you are NOT criming. I want to be able to write these ideas but all that motivation is drained the second you act like it’s less than or not worth your attention, because your opinion matters to me. You’re like legitimately the only person on the planet who I’m comfortable sharing my new fic ideas with and yet you don’t care at all.
On another note, it’s even harder when I actually listen to all your ideas and give you real, positive feedback almost every time. The only time I give you a “yeah” or negative comments is when I’m matching your energy to try to get you to understand that it hurts when someone doesn’t care. But I do care. I love your characters and your ideas. They’re all amazing and funny and you breathe life into them in a way that’s very unique and fun. But if you want to keep receiving positive feedback and keep having me as your listening ear, you need to be a listening ear for me and be giving me positive feedback too. It genuinely doesn’t take that long to send a two sentence review about a specific scene you liked or quote you liked. I know that when Caitlin sends me feedback and says a specific thing she liked, I literally ascend. I don’t know if it’s that way for you, maybe you don’t care if I just send a “yeah”, but I’m different from you. I’m an artsy person and artsy people are a lot more emotional than the average person. I like dramatics. I like adding a sparkle emoji at the end just because. Is that really so hard to ask? Like, really really? I genuinely want to know.
TL;DR (again), what you give is what you get, and it’s hard to stay motivated when you don’t give a crap about my ideas.
Also AU means alternate universe.
And now her’s back to me
I don’t give crap about your ideas when you walk up to me and go “I came up with a new idea!”
“Ok, are you still gonna do that old one?”
“No, I wasn’t motivated enough because you wanted me to write that other one so I dumped them both”
You dug yourself into a hole and I’m not gonna give you super excited feedback when I’m still waiting for the other things I gave you positive feedback for. I really wanted you to write campus’s ballad but for some reason you just stopped. And I really like Robrah but you didn’t even write one chapter of that. It’s hard for me to get super pumped about something when I know I’ll get like three sentences about it or a short story about LU.
I will get excited and give you nice feedback if you do these things
Don’t come up to me and start talking about a new idea unless you’ve at least written one chapter of your other thing.
You can text me about your new idea though
Don’t talk about LU ones. I’m sorry, but you’ve killed that series for me and I do not like talking about it. I will read yours though and try and not think about how it is just copying someone else’s idea for the characters.
If it is Robrah I will listen. If it’s something to do with Ghirahim I will listen.
Please don’t do super big deep dives. Little deep dives on things are ok but if you super dump some big theory or thought on me it’s hard for me to come up with something to say if I don’t fully agree or even understand what you’re saying.
Make your own characters. Ever book you’ve written when you’ve created your own character I’ve loved. But when you just use the same characters or someone else’s perspective on characters it sorta isn’t interesting to read anymore.
Do you enjoy my Robbie and Purah one more, or a Link club or Charlie, Dime, pregnant Peatrice, Prince, Kingdom, if you make the characters how you think they are it makes the story so much more interesting. My Link is memorable because he’s so dumb, City was memorable because he had a lot of drama, prince was memorable because of his ego and language, kingdom was memorable because of his temper. If you can take the characters that we see everyday in games we play and change them just enough it makes the story good. Do you think anyone looks at TotK Link and thinks “I bet he’s actually a jerk” or SS Link and thinks “I think he actually speaks ancient Hylian.” No. Because we made that up, it’s unique just to us. Because we didn’t just keep them at the stereotype Link. Like what LU does.
Also this will break your heart but I hate Wind, Time, Wild, especially Rule, Warriors, and any others. The only ones I like are Four and Legend.
Text fights in relationships…so interesting. Send me yours, post them, screen shots, typed convos, whatever. I want them, it’s for art. Comment them, thanks or email me [email protected].
You can now confront someone while simultaneously avoiding their being; Texting, oh the glory of the 21st century.
Everything’s going well, you’re having a joke. ... Wait. What? Was that not a joke? Fuck, why is tone such a bitch over text. WHY DON’T WE CALL PEOPLE ANYMORE?!
This is what being a millennial is all about; brace yourselves, you’re in a text fight - and it can drag on for daaaays.
