How to add text to a GIF; Tutorial.
So, the other day, someone asked me if it was possible to add text to a GIF. There are many ways you can do it, but I am still figuring out exactly how.
This will show you ways of adding two different types of text. Like this:

Okay, so first you need to know how to make a basic GIF. If you don't know how, you can find out here.
Now that you've made your GIF, it's time to add the text.
Click on the 'text' tool.
Now choose your font/ font size/ font colour etc.
Now click anywhere on your GIF and type what you want it to say. If you want to move the text after typing it, then simply click the move tool, and move it to your desired position.
(the move tool is the very top one)
Now make sure that the text layer is above all of the other layers, otherwise, it won't show on every frame.
And then save it like a normal GIF! :)
If you want to make the GIF like the second example where the writing 'fades' in, then follow the steps above, but before saving it, change the opacity on each frame.
Click the first frame (make sure it is the frame in the animation bar and not the layer bar.)
Change the opacity to 0%, then click the second frame and change the opacity to say, 10% and continue doing this on every frame, making the opacity higher and higher until you reach the last two frames, which is best if they are both on 100%.
(the box outlined in red is where you change the opacity).
Then save it like a normal GIF.
