there sure are a lot of new people here!! thanks for all the new followers and your lovely comments on my les mis art :’)

i wanted to pop in to say thank you but also that i never talk on here, i’m most active on my twitter (@genderfeel), and mostly use tumblr now for archiving my art. i also post fics and mixes on my ao3 and spotify

lmao wasn’t going to post about this here but the reason i chose to take shots at godot and not von karma in this post is because you’re not meant to fucking like von karma

von karma is framed as a straight up villain who the player has no sympathy for. he’s a terrible guy who murdered a dude who tried to expose his corruption and he abused children. he’s bad and the game tells you how to feel about him

godot is framed as a sort of charming anti-hero. that was how the game wanted me to see him, but to me it was overshadowed by his terrible choices (also murdered someone for a stupid reason) and frankly misogynistic treatment of every woman he came in contact with. he’s gross and i hate him even though the game expects me to like him or at least feel bad for him, which i don’t

so no, von karma doesn’t fucking belong there because the game is already telling you pretty clearly that he’s godawful, but i can’t say the same for everyone’s favorite male chauvinist
