I'm experiencing the same reaction to Project Hail Mary that I did to reading Curse of Chalion, which was "oh no I think I read the best book of the year in January, what now?"
This is already my favorite movie of the year and it's only March, none of the other big anticipated movies of the year have even hit yet!
I knew from the start that I was going to be obsessed, even if it turned out to be a weird and kind of bad movie, because I really loved the book. But no! Turns out its also an incredibly well made film in its own right?? The magic of cinema is back, and its an adaption of one of my favorite books?? I can't stop thinking about it, like that is just so!! Delightful!!
Sadly this film will have to square off with The Odyssey and Dune 3 for awards season but in my heart it has won EVERYTHING. I'm giving it the highest honor I can bestow (the title of comfort movie) and I don't even own the DVD yet
I'm so thankful to be mexican. Best cuisine in the world and its just a normal part of my Every day life. Sometimes I come home and there's 100% authentic tacos for dinner. What a wonderful way to live
Had a dream about superheroes where the superhero's girlfriend (who was obviously being set up to be fridged by the plot) was secretly in love with the villain's secretary. And in the end they both faked their deaths and left the men to fight over them while they enjoyed a nice vacation. It was great

I like this one more every time I rewatch it, not because it's perfect or anything but because it has many of the best memes in it
The Anakin/Padme romance has major Twilight vibes. Edward would fall to the dark side over Bella that's for sure

When you first hear about "The Clone Wars" in A New Hope, it sounds like something akin to Blade Runner, as if perhaps the war was fought for or against them. But no, it's called the clone wars because there were clones there, and no other reason. It's like calling chess the pawn wars. I've always found it somewhat stupid and misleading lol
Idk if I've ever mentioned this but I love the B1 droids. They're adorable. I want them to have financial compensation and healthcare. And a union
Christopher Lee really elevated any movie he was in. Effortlessly gives star wars more gravitas than it frankly deserves, making him a formidable enemy on the same level as Palpatine himself. I love that
