Text Tuesdays (May 13, 2014)

I am so totally not in the mood to write anything right now, but since I said I'd be writing daily, well HERE I AM.

Writing and words have such an important place in my heart. For years and years I've been told that I was that math kid, which was true, I guess, but labels suck. So I used whatever was in my power to prove people wrong, and I guess I found that through writing.

When you're good at math, people don't really think you'd be good in writing, creatively or otherwise. That's why I try to push myself whenever I have essays to submit so that it'd be known that I am MUCH MORE than my label.

Competitive drive + willingness to excel + general interest = appreciation for literature/texts/writing in general.
