Identity within an organization
"Through organizational efforts to craft identities, individuals are presented with many possible sources of personal identity. Advertising is a prime example of this. Organizations use advertising to shape their own identity while simultaneously offering individuals a resource for personal identity" (OCAG 111).
I personally found this particular quote very interesting and made me think of all the different commercials and ad campaigns I see on a daily basis and how they convey this message. I thought it was also interesting how this quote looked at organizations advertising from both the perspectives of the individual and the organization as a whole.
