For the past week whenever I've been doing our bedtime routine with the tiny human, Gunter gets very lonely and wants to know where I am (and so of course, screams for me until I show up). Obviously, this does not set the mood for anyone to go to sleep. Solution: Gunter is now part of the bed time ritual. Bath time? Gunter is hanging out on the shower rod watching. Story time? Gunter is on my head wondering why the bird alphabet book we have has "parakeet" but not cockatiel. Nursing before sleep? Gunter is marching around the bed checking for monsters.
Glad I have such a good co-parront.
