I've been thinking about this since I watched it earlier.
Yoongi's stunning experiences with pain and the way he's shared them with us are truly a gift.
As a person who has struggled in the past four years or so with issues he clearly and unflinchingly addressed in the AMYGDALA video, this is yet another reminder from him specifically that the people who go through these things are not alone.
If this video means anything, it's saying that the people who live through this shit are not alone. It's heavy, it's visceral, and it's real. Maybe he's still processing. We're all still processing, always fucking processing our shit, in our own ways. But his vulnerability, and indeed BTS's willingness to share these dark parts of themselves with us at all, is a treasure beyond words.
idk, I'm just really humbled that this was something he wanted to share with the world. With us. This is the first time in months I haven't felt achingly alone. This is the first time in months I've been willing to talk to that part of myself. And that video helped me. Min Yoongi's vulnerability with himself helped me.
We aren't alone, even when we feel like we may be. We should take care to remember that sometimes.
