It's the end of the month and it'd be nice to round it out with a few more sales if you fancy some nice commercial-use textures for your projects! Rivets n Rust evokes 90s base maps, Downtown Dystopia's a bit more modern urban. Both packs include a commercial use license for game devs but you can just as easily use them for your Quake maps or what have you.

MCF-3 Showing off

Welcome back! mR5M1LeY reporting, internet! So this last post is to show the final model render! I didnt have time to put it in UDK but the background was pretty good because our game will have grungy environments so it's just like it will be in the game. I really like the dDo workflow! 

I even got a cool render of what it would look like holding it in a game!

So this time here is how long i spent 4 hours - rendering screenshots 90 minutes - blogging Until next time internet, mR5M1LeY, singing off!

Hey internet! mR5M1LeY reporting for 3-dDo-uty! (lol!) After not working on it for a couple days, I decided it was finally time to texture the MCF-3! I use dDo for my texturing workflow because it is very fast and easy to do! These are the texture sets I got for my gun model. thankfully dDo does PBR which i have never done before! UDK, which my team is using to make our FPS, uses PBR textures so i had to learn how to do that workflow. the metal texture:

AO teexture (lol it came out smaller idk why):

Thankfully the colors are all solid because we are going for a sleeker design on the guns so I didn't have to do a diffuse texture set. I'll post the final result in the next post!
