Seems that the Dov are having a pleasant conversation among each other, exchanging stories and jokes alike.
my piece for the @tes-gala !!
extra details:
Teyaometli (Lover Sign):
Based loosely on Xochiquetzal, the Mexica goddess of fertility, sexuality (also associated with the moon), I added the flowers and based the bright colors of his outfit as an homage to her. The little capelet is based off the one she has in depictions, while the emblem is the Lover's Sign constellation. His sandals are also the center part of the glyph for the Morning Star in Mexica codexes. On his armored loin cloth, is the hieroglyph for movement, turned 90 degrees. He also has a painted Star of Azura on his face as homage to her.
Miraak (Lady Sign):
His cape is based off the depiction of Dibella in Atmoran artwork, made to look like a moth as homage to Lady Dibella herself. The silver is mostly based on (what I could find) Men-of-Kreath designs, in various shades of silvery blue to represent the shining stars, while the cut of the robe is reminiscent of Dibella's Atmoran depictions.
The pearls embedded on his robes and the horns of his crown are made to give the shape of the Lady Sign constellation.
Dar'Jados (Steed Sign):
Made to be easy to move in to represent the swiftness of the Steed. The rings on one of his thigh guards (forgot the word oops); the striped cut of fabric; the rings on his right thigh guard; Azura's star and the moon that clicks his cape together; his pauldron; and the end of his cape are all subtle stars that make up the Steed Constellation.
teyaometli clothing + armor designs (bonus info dump and art below)
morrowind design:
-was definitely rejecting of his role as nerevarine at first, but after the fifth trial (done before the fourth), he started to learn to lean more into it
-definition of righteous fury for a while, cleaved through plantations and struck down vivec right before heading for dagoth ur. cannot properly remember the confrontation with dagoth ur and his trek through the citadels of the sixth house to this day (starved and fully in fight-or-flight for a week straight)
-fully leaned into the nerevarine role post dagoth ur, wielding trueflame and hopesfire almost exclusively until after the bloodmoon
-kept the shirt from caius and began to wear (some gifted, some commissioned) pieces of bonemold armor;
-kept the helm of oreyn bearclaw, eventually donates it to the museum in mournhold (among many others items) before heading out to akavir
-studied lots about the dwemer and house dagoth following dagoth's defeat (rip a baddie, can i tap before u die)
this became a lore dump oops
skyrim design:
-mostly keeps to a mix of akaviri and argonian armor/clothing, but kept the only surviving piece of bonemold
-shifts to wearing more gold pieces, chest piece is now adorned with house dagoth's symbol + more reds (to forever mourn the sixth house)
-still wears wraithguard out of habit, finds it too useful to get rid of and also doesnt know where to begin with destroying it (same guy who initially considered tossing sunder and keening into red mountain after dagoth ur and akulakhan fell)
-doesnt want to wear armor on his tail anymore (too much of a headache and restricting)
also hi. love studying precolonial mexico and theres some symbols i snuck into the design: left pauldron has a hieroglyph for scales and water; gold belt buckle is the hieroglyph for gold; sash also has another hieroglyph for water
bonus older design for my morrowind design + snowy sabre cat pelt
