Okay, so this is a photo of one of Earth’s stranger mysteries. This specific fossil has just been dubbed ‘The Claw’ as of course, that’s just what it looks like. There are a few theories about it, considering all the strangeness surrounding it.

What we know firstly, is that is a metallic object that carbon dates to be far older than out historical knowledge of metal working so we have no idea it’s exact origin, and then secondly, is just its design, it’s complex and designed to be apart of a larger structure, what that might be, has been heavily debated

The earliest theories regarding it come from the medieval period, where it was thought to be a dragons claw. Nowadays most modern interpretations is that it’s from an older civilization that we have few records of, though that theory is still shaky at best

Lastly, there are quite a few crackpot theories of it belonging to giant robot dragons of all things

Just got back from a big science conference that I had the pleasure to attend, and if anyone remembers those odd seismographs, they had a large panel on that and more! The leading theory seems to be that it originates from the Earths core of all things, causing unprecedented shifts in the tectonic plates, with them only becoming more frequent and stronger over the past few decades

While not necessarily a problem now, it is cause for concern! Stronger tectonic shifts leads to larger earthquakes and tsunamis, unfortunately the only way to mitigate these affects would be strengthening infrastructure, I still don’t want to worry anyone as it should take decades before this phenomenon becomes frequently troublesome, I just want you all to be prepared

okay, up later than I usually am and I just saw my neighbours kid drive home on his motorcycle and then like 10 minutes later I hear the engine again he’s driving out again?? I’ve talked to him a few times now and he seems like a good kid, idk why he’s so recklessly break curfew

so, over Christmas one of my friends gave me this nice little seismograph and I’ve been screwing around with it in different areas in Jasper and.. well maybe it’s just me overthinking as I usually do, but sometimes the readings I get are oddly.. rhythmic? I’m not too sure what to say about it, but it makes me feel… discontent

I’m actually becoming really good friends w/ one of neighbours, and she’s super nice but her son has this wicked motorcycle?? It’s kind of crazy to me, like there’s not even a motorcycle dealership here

I’m not sure why exactly, but lately my neighbours kids friends have been coming over. At first the kid would come over and ask me about my profession, but now sometimes the whole group comes over and just?? hang around?? I’m not too sure why, and it’s not very often, but I think they’re all here for Roswell
