So it had been at least a decade since Kris and a village worth of humans made their travels to Cybertron. Now most of her fellow earthlings were brilliant, scientific minds but Kris just didn’t fall into that category. No, she was a diplomatic soul that helped bots and humans coexist and harmonize. She didn’t always have that title or responsibility, no, she earned it unintentionally when she was assigned to the very city of Vos. There she would occasionally cross paths with the leader of the broken planet, Lord Starscream. She wasn’t anything special, even after her voluntary splicing of her DNA and experimental strands of CNA, her mutation didn’t make her anything ‘fancy’. There had been a few moments she had stumbled upon the seeker in a troubled state and had attempted to console him. She was met with a loud voice, glaring optics, and countless dismissals, but she would not be discouraged.
Kris was a gentle soul that showed sincere concern for the well being of all native and non-native cybertronians. Eventually the dismissals diminished and the seeker tolerated her around before he seemed to ‘enjoy’ he presence, that and she tended to feed his ego with praises and encouragement. Eventually her steadfast nature was seen as a profitable key for both species of lifeforms to communicate and to be a source of insight as to the needs of the humans. It was exhausting work sometimes but Kris tried her best to keep her complaints out of the air. In her off-time she would explore about the city, digging through what ruins she could, and finding all forms of Cybertronian writing. With help she had managed to learn the alphabet in Decepticon and Old Cybertronian, but the process was quite slow.Still, this passion was an ever-growing hobby of hers, even if she was occasionally advised from her lord that any ruins can be extremely dangerous.
Slowly, Kris worked her way through the untouched sector of Vos, constantly fixing her thermal suit as it just seemed way too snug for her liking. Today.... or was it tonight? Damn, Cybertron definitely wasn’t anything like earth and the solar cycles were much different. Anyways, it was one of her off-days and that meant exploring! The bird-like woman walked along, what seemed like a road, lighting her way with the Cybertronian device she had been given. It was a comm-link, a GPS, a light.... etc, heck, it even had some form of a clock! The darkness seemed a bit eerie and mysteriously alluring but Kris was certain that she could find something to study from about the history of this planet. Sure, she had access to data files on the computers they had back in the tower she resided in, but something told her it wasn’t everything. There were always more sides to a story than just a singular viewpoint and she wanted to learn every one of them.
