Hmm well after energon was restored with Optimus at the end of tfo movie ore joined the cons so maybe then?

Or it could be when they become disillusioned about the cons and war and just goes nomadic forever, possibly an accidental meeting at that point?

Ore meets a lot of bots accidently. Just floating by (until they go through the multidimensional horrors^tm :) )

Well... prima once killed a small battalion of quintessons single servodly, onyx would constantly break soluses stuff.

The servos down, funniest one i can think would be Micronus managing to accidentally hit his head on the top of a doorframe twice his height.

None of us would let him live that... down...

The Decepticon just raised her arms screaming... Even if she was 2 times the size of the Minicon. It was like when someone sees a cockroach, but eh... The Minicon has a brain.

When Ore get's their optics fixed it is a huge turning point for them. Not only can they see literally, but they've also opened up their mind a lot more. Which in turn finally gets them to realize that their initial decision to become a Decepticon was misguided, and that their first decision doesn't necessarily have to be their last one.

After getting their vision back and have a small existential crisis, they decided the first thing they wanted to see properly were the stars. Coming from a miner background, they've literally never seen the stars. And when even in the surface, the use of a visor made their vision more x ray lik compared to normal vision, therefore the concept of the night sky was all but lost to them.

So after leaving/defecting the Decepticons, they find themselves alone again. Something that always seems to reoccur in their life, and although they hate and fear being alone with their very being. This time it helped them achieve the silence needed to think for themselves for once. Taking off their visor they stare at the surface, before finally deciding to look up.
