I made these today, for no particular reason honestly

I was just scrolling through photos again, looking at Transformers refs, and I was looking at TF One’s Onyx Prime’s hands, and how they look like how I probably should have drawn that one OC I made, Stinger’s hands

So then I decided to try drawing a One style Stinger, just for the hell of it

I did kind of enjoy it, I’ll be honest. She had a good number of changes from her original to fit with the designs we see from the movie, but she looks decently enough like her original

I admit it isn’t great looking overall, but it’s decent

Also I gave her diamond shaped pupils because honestly, we need more pupil shapes in this style; we know they aren’t all circles because of D-16 and his hexagon eyes, I want some more variety

Then I made a more Animated style head design to fill up a bit more space. And personally, I think it turned out way better than the other two, probably because it’s the closest to her original style, outside of some of the face things

I also didn’t give her lipstick, but eh, I don’t want to

Then I decided to do a more Earthspark style since I’ve dabbled in that one as well, and while it’s not horrible, I don’t think it’s as good as the Animated one

So uh yeah, I have slightly more content of this OC now. I still don’t really know what to do with Stinger though. Like I know she’s an unknown entity merely disguising herself as a Cybertronian, as well as having a terrifying alternate form (though also probably a normal-ish alt mode), and she very rarely talks, possibly to hide her pretending but it might not be. But like, I don’t know what her deal is, who she aligns with or interacts with, or what her power level is

She’s also gotten some slight design changes now, specifically with the middle of her head, but I realized while making this that her design’s a bit ill-defined, I don’t really know what a lot of stuff here is. Nor do I even have the best grasp of her color palette, and I feel like maybe I need to change it more

I also should probably draw more from her general design inspiration, who’s far more white than blue (even if she’s meant to be blue) and has a rather different look to her

Ah well, that’s a topic for if I ever decide to do more with her in the future. At the very least she’s got more going for her than some certain sparkling OC ideas that I’ve never returned to (or almost all of them in general, unless your name is Lux and you’re an endless struggle to design)

But yeah, enjoy whatever this is, if you wish to. It’s not great but it’s something I guess

While I’ve always liked the idea of Bumblebee having a sister* named Honeybee, I think I prefer the concept of Wasp, Stinger and Bumblebee all being identical triplets*.
