Still a W.I.P. (This is the current progress)
Yandere Medic Dad & Child Reader (ENTIRELY PLATONIC)
Guess whos back! Still not doing great but it's at least marginally better. Anyway, I was thinking of making this a full story but then I realized I'm already working on too much. So Medic dad oneshot it is!
Tw: Lots of yandere shit.
It was no secret that Medic was a rather off-hinged individual with very little regard for most human life. It only took three minutes of knowing him to be very keenly aware of his rather morbid curiosities and his lack of really any type of empathy for any of his 'patients'. Despite this Medic was not immune to other aspects of the human condition, love being one of his more vulnerable blindspots.
He met his wife, Lillith, in his younger adult years and it was almost love at first sight. She was the definition of beauty in his eyes. The two grew close very quickly. He was so madly in love with her that he didn't need to think about it. There was nothing to worry over.
Of course, looking back on it now he could only think of himself as an idiot. He had fallen so clumsily, so stupidly. He had given his heart to that disgusting monster, his soul to that woman. He spent all of his younger years catering to every one of her needs, playing into every one of her little tricks. He had longed to love someone and she knew that. She played him like a violin to get everything she ever wanted, never thinking to give him anything unless it benefited her as well. He never thought he'd ever been capable of loving anything more than her. He'd die for her- he'd kill for her. She was his liebe. The true love of his life...
That was until you came into the picture...
Nights of passionate romance can have consequences and it was almost inevitable that she would end up regretting having given into his touches. Weeks went by without any problems, nothing seeming to stray from the normal. But soon she began waking up sick and nauseous. He didn't think much of it at first and simply stuck at her side, hoping it would pass soon. But as days turned to weeks with her sickness going undiagnosed. He soon pressured her into letting him do an exam. It was only after going over the symptoms thoroughly that he was led to a conclusion. Once he told her his deduction he decided to get a test, just to be sure.
Full. Positive.
He nearly cried with the information. He was going to be a father!
He...He was going to be a father.
Upon receiving the news he was immensely excited. He shared that excitement with his lillith, who smiled the whole way through his rantings of how great this news was, even if it wasn't really planned.
It was alone that she silently broke down.
She didn't love this man and she knew it. In fact she hated him. His constant worrying, his long excited rants about work, his morbid obsession with the human body, even his stupid accent drove her crazy! Why did she stay with him then? Well that answer was simple...
She had nowhere else to go...
She might not love him but it was either be with him and live comfortably under his care or live on the streets. When the relationship started it was simple enough to fake it. A simple compliment made him giddier than a kid in a candy store. But as years went on she realized how deep she had dug herself into this hole. Her whole livelihood revolved around him. She truly wouldn't even know where to start, how she would even attempt to leave. That mixed with her slight fear of his obsessions and teetering mental stability meant that she chose to stay and continue to just dig herself deeper. She was fine living this way. She had nothing else to live for but herself anyway and even then she'd lost most of her dignity a long time ago.
Until you came into this world...
Suddenly she wasn't alone. She didn't have just herself to look after, she had you. Festering in her thoughts she realized she didn't want to raise you with this man. She didn't want you to be anything like him. The weight of the situation was heavy on her shoulders. She knew of the things this man had done, she knew the secrets he never told her. It was hard ignoring the stories he told of how he'd lost his medical license and she knew that his next chosen career path was all but a sane choice. She knew she had to get away from this man, for your own safety.
But that would take time and money. She would need a job, connections, people, a place to stay. None of which she had. So she spent her time in pregnancy doing those things. She met people, found places she would be able to work once she was no longer pregnant, and saved up whatever money she could without him noticing.
The day you were born was the happiest day of Josef's life. Unfortunately lillith wouldn't let him deliver the baby so he was left to simply help his wife through the process. Once you were born and the doctors wiped you down he got to see you.
His precious little one...
The doctors handed the baby to lillith first and he still remembered the look of pure unadulterated love that fell upon her face.
A look he had never seen from her before...
She held you so gently, cooed to you so lovingly. It melted his heart. After allowing her a moment he asked to hold you.
She felt anger and resentment grip at her the moment his question entered her ears. She wanted to protect you from the disgusting man that she knew, to keep you away from the dangerous grip of his hands...
But she couldn't...
She couldn't allow him to get suspicious, she couldn't allow him to get any idea that she planned on leaving. So reluctantly and with pain in her heart she handed you over into the arms of a man she never loved.
The moment you fell into his arms Josef's world stopped. As if frozen in time he was left with nothing but your fragile form to worry about. Your wide innocent eyes stared up at him with such curiosity, such wonder. Your tiny hands barely wrapped around his pinky finger. He felt tears come to his eyes as he looked at you.
"Hallo Y/n..." He spoke, earning a rather aloof look as your tiny body moved without much reason.
"Meine kleine Maus" Josef lovingly cooed at you, loving every cute little thing you did.
The next few weeks were absolute bliss for Josef and hell for Lillith. She spent as much time as she could trying to keep Josef away from you. She was terrified that his morbid curiosity would get the better of him and that he'd hurt you, or that he'd show you his incomprehensibly cruel expirements.
All she wanted was to keep you safe.
She spent countless nights staying up just waiting for the night that he'd try to sneak away from bed to go hurt you. She barely slept, barely ate, barely even breathed as she rushed to be at your side through all moments of the day. Josef on the other hand couldn't have been a happier man. He had his own little family to love, his two most favorite people. Of course he grew upset a few times when Lillith wouldn't allow him to hold you, but he chalked that up to her being an overprotective mom, which he utterly adored. For him it seemed as if life couldn't get any better...
Until it all came collapsing down.
It was as simple a night as any. Back alley procedures and quick mercenary jobs were his daily. While he did enjoy his work he found more happiness being with his loved ones, which is why he was smiling as he walked back up to the house, ready to see them again.
When he walked into the house and heard silence he remained quiet, assuming you were asleep. He took off his shoes and jacket, putting them where he always did next to the door. He then silently stepped up the stairs, heading directly for your room. He quietly opened the door, peeking his head in only to have confusion hit him.
The toys, the baby clothes, the bottles, all were missing from the room. Feeling concerned and rather confused he walked further into the room and began looking around. It wasn't long before his eyes were drawn to the crib, spotting nothing other than a piece of paper. Worry spiked him as he grabbed the note, the handwriting being all too familiar.
Dear Josef,
This has been a long time coming, though I don't think you've noticed. I'm going to keep this straight and honest as I don't want to waste too much time writing this.
I don't see you raising my child in any sane or healthy way. Please do not look for us, you can't convince me to stay, you can't convince me to let you anywhere near Y/n. I never want to see you again nor do I want you involved in her life. Please Josef, just let us go.
Goodbye,
Lillith
Shattering was all Josef could hear in his ears as his heart fell to pieces. His hands gripped so tightly on the paper that it crumbled and ripped in his hands. He couldn't understand it. He couldn't believe she would ever do something so- so...
So evil
She took away his child, his little mouse. He was infuriated beyond any doubt. He loved her, he cared for her
And she tore his heart to pieces, she stole away his perfect life, she killed every bit of the pure happiness he felt.
She was a monster
In a rage he began throwing things, breaking whatever was around him as his life fell apart with them. Everything he had any true care in was torn from his hands. In one simple note his beloved wife became his greatest enemy, the fuel for his hatred along with his child becoming the object of his obsession.
He would find you. He would find you even if he had to burn the world in the process.
Years. He spent years searching. Each dead-end left him more hopeless than the last. No matter how hard he tried or what lengths he went to he was never able to get close enough. His mental stability only worsened as he obsessed over finding you. In the process he managed to land himself in a mercenary base for some type of war between brothers. He took the job for two reasons. One, because it paid well enough for him to finance his search for you, and two because it would put him around some dangerous people...
Some dangerous people that might be able to help him find you.
Even with the help of who he would come to know as Spy, yet another year passed.
It hurt him...it hurt him to know how much he was missing out on. Your first step, your first words, your first medical experiment! He was missing so much of your younger years, so much time wasted because of the monster he was stupid enough to love.
Still, it was inevitable that he would find you. Whether it was the next day or a decade, he'd find you.

Medic was sitting in his chair, his hand gliding across the paper in chicken-scratch handwriting. He didn't much care for this part of the job, finding it entirely boring. But it wasn't like someone else could do it.
Just as he started to hyper-focus though something was laid in front of him. Pulling away from his work-filled trance he looked up to notice a folder before following where it came from and landing on Spy.
"If zis is more papervork I might just cut jour hand off" Medic spoke honestly, irritation found in his tone. Spy, with an unwavering and serious expression, fixed the non-existent wrinkles in his suit before speaking.
"Non, zis is about ze deal we made a year ago. I believe it still holds water oui?" With furrowed brows Medic grabbed the folder only to be immediately met with photos. Spy watched as Medics eyes widened, his face expressing so many possible emotions at once that Spy had trouble pinning him to one. They were photos of Lilith and...and a little one...
His little one.
Medic shot up from his desk, not bothering to stop any of the papers from flying. His smile was so wide Spy was surprised he didn't manage to pull some type of muscle. Before Spy could begin to understand what was happening Medic threw his arms around the man in a tight hug before quickly pulling away, close to tears.
"Ich kann nicht glauben, dass du sie gefunden hast! (I can't believe you found her!)" Medic excitedly spoke before running to grab his jacket and anything he'd need for the journey. Spy was left stunned in place, genuinely surprised by the actions the doctor took. Not once did he ever see Medic so giddy. And hugging him? Completely uncalled for!
Just who exactly had Spy been searching for over this past year? What did they mean to Medic? Of course they had to have meant something but Spy was never expecting such a strong reaction from the doctor.
Spy, having been in a state of shock and utter confusion, was only pulled back to reality when a case was outstretched to him
"Here is ze ozer half, all of it is in zere. I must leave now so please do me vone last favor und tell Ms. Pauling I'll be back by ze morning. Zank jou!"
Before Spy even gained the composure to speak, Medic was running out the door, frantically buttoning up a jacket as he did so. Spy, deciding that this was none of his business, let the doctor go. As long as he got his money then he didn't care what Medic was doing with the information.
How that sentiment would have changed if he knew what the crazed 'doctor' would do with that information.

That had to be the longest car ride of his life! Though that may have something to do with the anticipation of his destination. Years he had waited. Years he had festered on bitter hatred for his former lover. Now, pulling up outside of an apartment building he'd never seen, he was ready to take back what was stolen from him. The life that witch so selfishly kept away.
Turning the car off he took a deep breath, readying himself to meet his daughter. He took one last look at the picture of you he had gained from Spy. He burned the image into his head to the point where even in a crowd of thousands he was sure he'd be able to find you.
He'd never be able to forget those wide innocent eyes.
Finally Leaving the car he felt the full weight of excitement, nervousness, and bitter hatred fall on his shoulders. Each step forward was one step closer to the life he so desperately wanted. Each echo of his boots creating a melody of hesitation as he walked closer to the apartment building.
Walking into the building was almost surreal. Here was the place his daughter lived, the place she was growing up. He stepped in the same places you must have walked a thousand times over, the halls so unfamiliar to him were what you called home.
A horrible home.
Such danger must lie in every corner, rooms filled with strangers that would gladly hurt you. Not a place you would be forced to call home much longer. Soon you'd be safe, protected under his care. Soon you'd have everything you could ever want. Soon you'd be with him.
His kleine maus.
Absent-mindedly his feet brought him to the door, the numbers unforgettable since he first saw the picture of them. For a moment he hesitated.
Could this be too good to be true? Could this simply be another dream? Another illusion of the future he wanted? He reached his hand up not to knock, but to let his hands glide over the door frame. He let the feeling ground him to reality.
This was real. Not a dream, not an illusion. This was it. The climax of his years of searching. Slowly he brought his hand to the middle of th3 door before applying a knock. Such a gentle, unthreatening knock. One that could be mistaken for someone weak with sickness. He heard the tap of feet, the sound of which he counted.
He wasn't going to forget a detail of this moment. Every sound, movement or spoken word would be forever recorded in his mind.
The doorknob turned...
And familiar eyes stared back at him
A wide and wicked grin grew on his face as he watched hers contort into terror.
"Vhy hello...liebe" he spoke darkly, a sadistic chuckle threatening to leave his throat. It was only after his spoken words that she thought to act.
She tried to slam the door on his face, an action quickly thwarted as Josef threw his whole weight in strength against the door, knocking it open forcefully enough to shove Lillith to the ground. He closed the door behind him as she backed away in full terror. He walked forward, his movements that of someone who knew what they were doing. Cold, calculated, and completely sadistic.
"Stay away from me!" She yelled, trying frantically to get away from him.
"Gladly...if jou give me mein child back" Medic laid out the ultimatum, his tone showing he was only going to allow such mercy now. In that moment rage beat the terror in her eyes, her will to protect you being far greater than her own will to live.
"I'd rather burn in hell!" She yelled, trying to scramble to her feet.
"Zen I have no problem sending jou zere"
Meanwhile
"Y/n. It's getting pretty late. I'm going to go see what your mother is up to. Why don't you head to bed?" A frail voice spoke softly to you. One whittled down through years of use.
"Okay..." You spoke with a small yawn, laying down on the couch you had already been sitting on. Your small form fit comfortably on it, your weight not being enough for it to discomfort you. What you considered to be almost like a grandmother to you tucked you in with a blanket she held before leaving out of the apartment doors to go down the hall to your mother.
You knew what it meant when your mother didn't come down the hall. Even at your young age you weren't ignorant to the dark clouds that hung over your life. Yet you were still nieve to the severity, finding no difficulty and letting your eyes shut. You simply let yourself drift off to sleep, your mind filling with the dreams and wishes only small children had.
That was until you heard a shrill scream.
Shooting up on the couch you felt fear pang at your heart. You froze for a moment as you heard a commotion begin, slams and yells of anger and fear following it. Curious and worried you stood from the couch, your tiny feet echoing across the silent apartment as you made your way to see what was going on. You opened the door to the apartment, peeking out in hopes that the sounds weren't coming from where you assumed they were.
What you saw was a man, furious and painted in red splotches, staring into what you knew as your home. Neither Rosa nor your mother were in sight, only the strange doctor-looking man. You froze at the door, fear paralyzing you.
"VHERE ARE ZEY!? VHERE IS MEIN CHILD!? TELL ME!"
"F-...FUCK-...YOU!" You heard the all too familiar sound of your mother yell, though her voice sounded strained, as if she had to put all of her energy into the words. Scared of the crazed man at the door you quickly realized it was not safe. So you tucked back into the apartment and, to your horror, clicked the door shut.
Josef turned to the sound, pinpointing which door it came from. He felt his heart jump, his mind spinning with only the thoughts of retrieving his child, his maus. He then turned back to the apartment, his eyes landing on two bodies. One being the stranger that tried to stop him who laid limp and unmoving, the other his ex-wife, bloodied and bruised, refusing to tell him where you were. With an fury-filled expression he slammed the door, knowing that she couldn't walk if she tried. He then turned, his feet walking heavily down the hall, heading for where he had heard the door click. He made it to the door, opening it so slowly that it creeked on its hinges.
Ever so slowly he walked into the dark apartment, the only light being the stars and street lamps that shined through the window. He closed the door behind him, his eyes scanning for movement. Finding no one he finally called out a name.
"Are jou in here maus? Zere is no need to be afraid" his voice was like that of a siren attempting to lull your fears down, to call you forth to him. You did not leave your hiding space, the red soaking his clothes being enough to keep you hidden. Medic listened closely and in the sudden eerie silence he was able to hear the faintest of heavy breathing. He felt the heart in his chest swell, his hope to find you still alive. He began walking, the heavy steps of his boots echoing through the room. They were slow and purposeful. As if each step was supposed to mean something. To him it was him being yet another step closer to his goal. To you, it was another step closer to pain.
"Please. I von't hurt jou, I promise" he spoke as he walked closer and closer to the couch. You held your breath as fearful tears came to your eyes.
"I don't vish to play cat and mouse. I'm not here to hurt jou. Please my little vone. I missed jou so much. I only vish to see jou again. Come to me" he called once more. Your eyes tightly shut, your tears falling with it. In hopes to keep yourself quiet you covered your mouth with your hands, hoping he would walk away.
That's when you felt hands fall onto you...
You screamed and began thrashing against whatever was lifting you from the ground. The hands were strong though and you were soon pulled into even stronger arms.
"LET ME GO!" You screamed, terrified of what was about to happen to you.
"Sh sh sh, it's alright Y/n. Calm down. I'm not going to hurt jou..." He spoke your name, causing your movement to cease.
How did he know your name?
Upon feeling your body stop moving along with your exhausted and heavy breath he pulled you away ever so slightly and looked into the eyes he'd never forgotten. He smiled, his eyes welling with tears.
"Oh mein kleine Maus! I've finally found jou!" He spoke joyfully, a sense of relief flowing through his tone. You were confused and still very much frightened by whoever this strange man was.
"W-Who are you? Where's mama?" You asked, tears still streaking down your face. Josef looked at you, his unsettling smile wavering at your questions before he came up with an answer.
"I'm jour fazer Y/n...und I'm here to take jou home. Jour mozer said it vas time for jou to come viz me" he spoke in a sickly sweet tone, his excuse calming you slightly as shock took hold of your face. Your nievity seemed to cause you to ignore what you had seen in the hall only moments before, especially at the prospect of this man being your father.
"You...You're my dad?" You asked, causing his smile to widen again, pure joy found on his face
"Jes maus and I have missed jou. But ve do have to go, ze car vill get cold" you stared at him with the wide doe-like eyes he'd seen the first day you had been on this earth. They were filled with curiosity and wonder though now they seemed glassed over with confusion and fear.
"Oh...can I say goodbye?" You asked, earning a second of silence before Josef was able to find a suitable lie for you.
"Jour mozer is feeling ill, it would be best if she rested" he explained as he began walking out of the apartment with you still tightly in his arms. You grew a saddened look on your face.
"What about Rosa? Will I ever get to see her again?" You asked, a sad quality taking over your features. Josef once again hesitated, though due to your child-like naivety you didn't notice the obvious lies that spun through his head and soon off of his tongue.
"She is helping jour mozer. I don't zink ve should disturb her" he pointed out as he kept walking. Something about this felt wrong to you but you were at a loss of what to do. You didn't want to anger this strange man who you now believed to be your father. He looked scary enough and you were always a very compliant and rather sensitive kid. The type terrified of angering anyone, no matter what situation you were in. So without a fight, you let this stranger carry you.
That was until a scream stopped him in his tracks.
"LET GO OF MY KID YOU INSANE PIECE OF SHIT!" You turned your head before going wide-eyed and immediately tearing up.
Lillith, beaten and bruised, bloodied and broken, used what was left of her life to stand and scream at the man that held you in his grasp.
"M-Mama?" You spoke in a whisper, your tiny mind almost unable to register what you were seeing. You felt the grip of the man tighten around you, his face going cold and his jaw tightening. Slowly he turned back to her, an evil unknown to you found in his eyes.
"Zey're my child. And I vould sooner see zis building burn to ze ground zen let zem go" he didn't have to yell to terrify you to your core. Just his tone alone was enough to sicken you. Feeling absolute terror now rush through your veins you began to struggle in his arms again, wanting desperately to get away from the terrifying man and to somehow help your heavily injured mother. Your struggle was in vain though, his grip was tighter than steel as he glared down at Lillith.
"Let me go! Mama!" You called out to her. Her eyes turned desperate once they landed on you. She attempted to walk but immediately collapsed, blood dripping off of her body. With that the man turned and began to walk away from the scene, as if the woman on the ground were nothing more than a stranger. You began to wail, continuing to kick and scream as he carried you away. People tried to stop him but to your absolute horror he killed them right in front of your eyes.
One bullet was all it really took.
You continued to scream as he brought you to a parking lot and quickly put you in the back seat of the car. You immideately pulled on the car doors but it was no use, they were already child locked. It was only seconds after setting you in the car that he got in and drove off. With panic and terror running through your veins you curled into a ball farthest away from where he now sat in the front seat as you began sobbing. The rumble of the car was felt underneath you as he very swiftly drove away, never to be seen again.
You didn't dare speak a word as you sobbed, your eyes having witnessed evil you hadn't know existed. Medic constantly looked in the rearview mirror, checking up on the one person he'd missed so dearly. It broke his heart a little to see you crying, but it was what he had to do to save you. You might never see it that way but that didn't matter to him.
As hours passed you managed to cry yourself to sleep, having already been exhausted before. By the time you had managed to do so, it was already nearly morning with nothing but desert for miles around. He let out a sigh once silence filled his ears. Looking back to you once again he smiled, your face now peacefully in the world of dreams. His mind immediately went to what the two of you would get up to, how he'd make up for years of wasted time. With blissful thoughts running through his head he soon noticed his destination approaching. Driving away from the road and passing a tarp the building soon came into view.
Silently he took his parking spot, slowing to a stop and turning the car off. He stayed there a moment, a wide smile on his face. He almost couldn't believe that after all these years he had his little one back, his only family. He felt pure joy in how everything seemed to fit so perfectly. He had a place for you to learn away from society! A secret corner where no one could find you and take you away! You'd become his assistant in no time! Oh how he couldn't wait to be near you, to see those adorable little eyes stare at him in wonder, to hear you call him your father! He felt pride in even just the thought of it!
How he had missed his kleine Maus
