4-team TF2 Classic CTF idea
teams have 1 intelligence briefcase EACH
teams can capture other's intelligence
after capture: captured intelligence (or representative thereof) is respawned in the capturing team's intel room and stays there until touched by the original team
one team has all of the briefcases
time runs out and one team has the most briefcases
sudden death in all other cases
red captures yellow, and green intel
yellow and green have a soft incentive to cooperate to break through red's defenses
BLU also has incentive to help so that they can capture too
this causes the game to transfer from 1vs1vs1vs1 to 3vs1
they break the defense and green returns their flag and steal red and yellows flag from red's intel room before yellow gets to it
yellow intercepts and returns their flag
red steals yellow and blu’s flag
this cycle of building bounties against specific teams and then fulfilling them leads to an interesting pacing that i hope someone smarter than me can program in with hammer. HAMMER IS SCARyyy
