Another hc for Heavy Weapons Guy I have is that his father's name is Afanasyi or as on latin Athanasios (Афанасий). It's because then Heavy will be Mikhail Afanasyevich (Михаил Афанасьевич) which matches the name of the very popular Ukrainian/Russian/Soviet writer, Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov. His most recognizable works are The Master and Margarita (an amazing read if you know the context of the time. Can't recommend it enough,it's a classic. Really enjoyed studying it in class), The White Guard (iirc the novel about a Ukrainian war of Independence that was part of Russian Civil War. Huh, it's a fun thing in translation. I've never heard it called a Russian civil war, but just a civil war) and ect. And in short, he was terrified of what Russia has become and how people changed under the Soviet rule. He was very against the Soviet rule. The master and Margarita, one of his greatest works, was finished around 1939-1940, but it wasn't published until 80s.

I just thought this historical and literary callback would be interesting. Heavy has a PhD in Russian literature and his dad was contre revolutionary. Also I just found out that the name Athanasios basically means "without death", which is ironic, considering he died.
