Tfa lore oplita:
(Actually, it's just crazy, lol. I don't want to impose anything on anyone. It's just a funny situation.)
Do you think he can... yeah
nobody fucking talk to me.
Dw he just a lil nervous over the fact that he was pressured into this roll via guilt trip+misinformation , misses team prime on earth , knows he’s not qualified for the job, knows others don’t think he’s qualified, knowing his friend’s (longarm) life could possibly depend on his performance and that his friend (longarm) is acting off
Just worried over lil things
Also that comic panel where Megatron wants Optimus to submit himself to him and become his Lord. Wanting to accomplish such glories with him.
That’s big time fuel to the fire.
I don't care how questionable the canonicity of this comic is! No one can tell me this is not canon! Megs wants Op as his wife to co-rule Cybertron. Simple as that <3 I'm delulu enough to accept this (but not the way the comic ended. Yes, I'm selectively delulu) as canon
Without giving away any big spoilers, I genuinely love and appreciate how this specific panel in A Tale of Two Saris was staged/designed:
It's not just an epic group-shot introducing the Shattered Glass Repair Crew. It's also giving us a window into their team dynamic.
Mirror!Prowl is dead-center, flanked by his fellow Evil Autobots - a position of power and focus that naturally draws the reader's eye. He's also the only one whose stance conveys a definite sense of control/authority. Mirror!Ratchet and Mirror!Bulkhead look like they're ready and waiting for the command to attack. And Mirror!Bumblebee is just...being his disturbed self. (Honestly I doubt anyone can keep him safely and reliably under control.)
Overall, I think it's pretty clear who was in charge while Mirror!Optimus was stewing as a severed helm in Emperor Sumdac's basement.
I'm also fascinated by Mirror!Prowl's color scheme, and what significance it might hold in this Shattered Glass Universe. Obviously it's the inverse of TFA Prowl's color scheme, so at the very least I'm guessing he's not paricularly stealthy. He also seems to stand out from the other Mirror!Autobots even more than TFA Prowl stands out from the other Autobots in his universe. And I can't help but feel like there's important vibes/lore being implied.
So honored to have work on this alongside all the talented people - please check it out! It's a lovely tribute to Derrick Wyatt. (I'm credited as L. Kershaw).
You can get a digital copy from the ko-fi link in the video - and Keyan also got the voice actors in!
Reblogs very much appreciated ✨
