“Doesn’t mean you wouldn’t blow me,” Neil throws back at him, grinning.

Andrew’s face twitches. He raises an eyebrow as if to say, I said what I said.

“You think I’m hot,” Neil teases, because his mouth has and always will get him into trouble.

“I think you’re decent looking,” Andrew corrects, bored, but it’s redundant to Neil, who can see the look in Andrew’s eyes.

There’s a pause.

“I love you.”

They have a stare-off, neither flinching away from the eye contact.

Finally, Andrew says, “Don’t say stupid things.” And then he’s kissing him. Later, Neil thinks he can feel Andrew mouthing the same three words into his neck, but he doesn't ask.
