Brief dev log because I forgot to do that today. So so much writing has been done for The Flawless Defect today; my every waking moment practically is spent being super excited for this game at this point! Great great greeaaaat progress. Majority of the writing is really shaping up.

I announced a bit more about it somewhere on Instagram strangely, but I'm planning to talk more about this game on other platforms. These dev logs just won't be sufficient enough/do the game enough justice me-thinks. So I'm making plans for that!

First dev log for The Flawless Defect, oh wow. Doing a bunch of writing today, and the ending makes me weep already.

During the past few weeks though, I've mostly been gathering and centering/finalizing the impact or message of the story. As well as gathering a ton of visual inspiration for a better general feel/idea for things. That's been INCREDIBLY fun. Have I said how much I love experimental work here yet?

One of my primary inspirations of all things is the mixed-media styling that exists in The Tatami Galaxy. Have a look-see...

Also, regarding progress on the game... there hasn't been much, but I'm getting back into gear. So many life events happened last week, but I'm feeling super motivated and inspired again.

In the time since I last posted though, I've mostly been creating the game's first written draft since my outline is somewhat finished (I say somewhat, because there's a tiny bit more I'm adding in). But I've been drafting using google docs, and I gotta say, I love the tabs feature. I can just drag scenes around in or out of order. Sure is story rich this whole narrative, lot of plan. I feel writing is going to take the longest! But it'll be sooo worth it.
