Meghan Stanwyck + Character Tropes
Text ✉ Meg
Lily: You'd better not be dead after all the trouble I had to go through to get this number.
Determining Merit ✝ Claude & Meghan
Things had not at all gone according to plan. Admittedly, Claude hadn't thoroughly read and understood the rules of the auction before he threw down a couple hundred on two of the dates, but he still found himself irked. Nonetheless, he was not the sort of man to waste money, and so he found himself preparing to go on a date with Meghan Stanwyck, a dancer at the Devil's Underground. Opting to go a bit more casual than he usually did, he put on one of his nicer pairs of trousers with a white button-up, deciding to leave his suit in the closet for once. He did not expect or want his date to go very far, but he might as well do something nice for the woman who had had the misfortune of ending up as his date. After all, he had a lot to offer, although few took him on. So, after finding out a little bit about this Meghan Stanwyck character, Claude got in contact with her and set up an evening out. He made his way to the Devil's Underground, a path which he was annoyingly familiar with, and parked a few blocks away. As he stepped out into the cool evening air, he inhaled deeply, and immediately regretted it, his senses assaulted by the scent of urine and garbage. He screwed up his nose, shaking his head before he locked his car and began walking. I hate cities. Before long, he found himself outside the Devil's Underground, and with another deep breath, he let himself in.
As soon as he walked into the establishment, he was thankful for the dim lighting and the visual distractions found wandering throughout. As always when he came here, the last thing he wanted was to be recognized - although it was sometimes unaviodable. At that particular point in time, he was mostly hoping that The Boy was not working at the time. He did not want him to misunderstand Claude's reasons for being there. Making his way around the room until he found an employee that looked the least busy, he sauntered up to her with his hand in his pocket. "I'm looking for Meghan Stanwyck. Please tell her that Claude Fitzgerald is here," he said, despite the flush of embarrassment that he felt. "I'll be at the bar," he said, pointing to said bar before the girl nodded and slinked off to the employees' area. Looking up at the stage for a long moment, he finally pulled his gaze away and moved towards the bar, standing at the corner, ignoring the bartender. He sincerely hoped that this Meghan was of the punctual sort, but even if she wasn't as he expected, he didn't want to take any chances and have her catch him off guard.
