Say it ain’t so. I’m so bummed #tfny is not happening in February 2021. Seriously, you don’t understand how much I LOVE going to Toy Fair. I’ve been going to #TFNY since 2011 and to go as “Press” was a huge dream of mine— I work so hard for that weekend every day! I understand The Toy Association’s reasons and totally respect them; a show like that is no easy feat and it’s very, very expensive for companies to build these booths. Javits charges a lot for the booths to set up from the lighting to the flooring. So much detail goes into what each company does that I appreciate every detail. I’ll miss seeing all of our toy friends and seeing the prototypes! If you need some in person NYC coverage, I’m here! 😂 I’m looking forward to see what they have planned virtually, but there is really nothing quite as wonderful as the real thing. It’s just so much fun to see it all in person. Also, Toy Fair Dallas is canceled this year as well. I haven’t told Marcello this news yet. I don’t know how to tell him nor even know if he’ll care in his current frame of mind.
