not a wmmap post but can i just say the way asm characters get shat on for the most ridiculous reasons is just so weird. like people have complained about how other female characters than the fl are so watered down and lack depth, but as soon as they see ohara von heinrich not invite shuri to the wedding because she genuinely believes it would just send her away and didn’t expect her to be brutally murdered AT ALL they act like she’s the mastermind behind her death??? there’s literally a panel of her reacting to her death and she doesn’t seem happy she was so distraught. and don’t get me started on shuri herself, the specific hate she gets is just so… have we read the same story. she was fourteen when her asshat family shipped her off to be married to a dude old enough to be her dad, because she looks like the dead empress….. i’m honestly glad i didn’t even witness all the hate she got i would be so mad.

Omg I just read foundation of a Sphere and I love it so much. I don't mean to pressure or rush you at all but will you be continuing it. Or have you scrapped it?

the problem with tfoas is that every single chapter is an in-depth character study of a character that doesn’t even fully exist in a canon anywhere because everything is different for the losers in a non-IT world. so the first 7 chapters are coming horribly slowly. past that, people will be a little more into what’s going on with each other, a little less in their heads. but just the base level: researching a base diagnosis so i can approach whatever it is in a respectful manner, is time consuming. and then fully absorbing the ~headspace~ of each character to write their piece is also a lot and having happen what needs to happen between other dynamics while in a diff character’s pov is difficult bc unlike &tfat, for example, each one of them is really really wrapped up in their own heads / problems.

& then all of that heaped on to trying to keep everyone in character and play out a realistic group therapy scenario has me as the living embodiment of the knife emoji. it’s happened Twice now (twice!!) where i’ve gotten 750+ words into something and be like “this is nice, i like this character but this character isn’t ben” (or eddie, is the other person that happened to me to. his chapter is next.) they’re relatively short chapters but oddly painstakingly produced - but coming, i promise!!

tl;dr?? not abandoned!!

& That’s For All Timeeddie in &tfat has a fairly strong belief that things end up the way that they’re supposed to be. i don’t think he’d change anything, even if some of the stuff ends up hurting him. it’s all //supposed// to happen, to him. 

The Foundation of a Sphereeddie’s chapter is next and i don’t want to give much away but let’s just kind of say everything. he’d give anything for a chance to start over.

On Pointefucking!!! saying yes when stan reached out to him on facebook to room together. ((i’m kidding at this point in the story probably not that anymore)) Actually though … it’s probably not pushing his parents (yes. you heard my ass correctly) to let him start intensive training when he was 15 and do joffrey or some shit like that. or not working out his arms more in prep for pas de deux.
