Well, well look who’s suddenly gone all radio silence on me... You're not telling me that NO ONE has anything to say about the aftermath of the Fairchild Ball? No juicy tidbits on the Archibald fallout? Or, hell, even on Nate's hair? Isobel Prescott comes back to town and nothing. No whispers of ‘Unholy Trinitys’ or anything. No one is going to make a peep about Alex Vandervort and her baby daddy, whoever they may be? I can't rouse an opinion on even what Elizabeth Baizen wore to the spring fling? Speaking of, no one even has an accusatory finger to point about those mysterious, missing personal items?

Oh what, was I too mean while you all went on your little dates? Because I can certainly have more to say. What I can't do however is make it without you, my little Upper East Siders. I suggest you stop holding out on me.

Fairball Recap~

Same for this, it will be finished, but y’all should know now XD

Okay, so Scarlett and Benji went to the Fairchild Ball together, but neither of them really wanted to be there with each other TBH. Jason and Layla also went together, something that Scarlett noticed. She also spotted Benji kissing Louise and she spiralled into a low self esteem thought process about how she was never anyone‘s first choice. This led to her finally caving and kissing Benji for the first time on the dance floor.

Jason, seeing this, flipped his shit and pulled Benji off of Scarlett and punched him. A very public yelling scene occurred and Scarlett ended up storming out of there. On her way to the exit, Layla had some snide comments to throw out there about having sex with Jason, probably mentioned Scarlett’s dad, idk but Scarlett snapped and punched her cousin square in the face. This was also hella public.

Jason followed her outside and some more yelling ensued (less public, but if your character is nosy, they could have followed too) and Jason spilled some feelings. Scarlett asked if it was true that he he had slept with Layla and he dodged around the question like “Why do you care who I sleep with?” and Scarlett yelled about how having sex with her cousin wasn’t how you got a girl to like you. Jason spilled some self depreciating shit about how Scarlett would never like a guy like him and she was all “You never even asked me!?!?!” And lol so he does ask her and she just... “I’m tired.” and leaves.

Addie, who saw everything, followed Scarlett home and found her trying to bandage her own hand cause she punched wrong and there was swelling and bruising and she probably fractured or dislocated something tbh. But yes, Addie helped her (#MedStudents) and she still has her hand wrapped at this Spring Fling event~

Fairball Recap~

Okay, so the replies will be continued, but the purposes of everyone being in the know, here’s what happened with Dean at the Fairchild Ball:

So right after the incident with Nate happened, Jesse mumbled “Jeez. I thought my best friend making out with my girlfriend on my birthday was bad.“ and Dean was right there in ear range. Dean wasn’t aware that Jesse knew about him and Rose kissing on his birthday until now and he’s just SO SAD. He legit hates himself for what he did and this just made it 100 times worse.

He left the ball not long after that (without Rose) and went back to her place (where he had practically been living) and packed up his things. Rose walked in on him as he was closing his bag and, yes, they broke up. Dean just couldn’t do it anymore.

He didn’t want to go back home though, so when he left Rose’s house, he headed over to the Vandervorts’ and asked Sophia if he could stay there for a little while. So that’s where he’s been for the last week and he hasn’t really spoke to Rose. He has also been hiding in Sapphire’s room whenever Jesse comes over to see Sophia. All in all, the boy is creating his own problems.

“Instead of judging my family Mrs Vanderswan, how about you take your family home for the evening? I don’t think my family nor the Archibalds, are in any position to defend ourselves.” Lucille spoke bluntly and then turned around bumping quite hard into someone. “Oh my gosh I am so sorry.”

OH, HOW FAST THE EVENING PASSES, CLEANING UP THE CHAMPAGNE GLASSES....

The ball was a wild time, filled with beautiful people in beautiful clothing, chatting it up over delicious shrimp puffs and champagne. But all good thing must come to an end--and what better way to end an evening than with an arrest straight from the FBI’s most wanted list? We know the guests (and Gossip Girl) will be talking about this evening for a very long time.

Things started out well, as events like these usually do. Parents made connections over cocktails, old friends complimented each others dresses, and the seating arrangements went off without a hitch.

That is, until the UES equivalent of the SWAT team came crashing through the front doors to arrest none other than The Captain himself, Howard Archibald. After that, our most gracious host Emmeline decided that there was no returning from an event like that, popped her booty bangerz playlist in, and let the chaos unfold.

But of course the drama couldn’t end there. Let us not forget the fate that befell Logan Hunter (living it up in Aspen away from the mess of the ball) late in the evening. Between the dramatic exits of the Unholy Trinity (minus one) and the Hunter family, the word started to spread. There was an accident on the slopes but most still believe he’s in the French Alps.

That wasn’t all, though. Jesse and Sapphire really stuck their feet in their mouths when they started yelling about Alex Vandervort’s bun-n-the-oven. While unconfirmed by Alex herself, the whispers spread like wild-fire.

While the initial drama is over, there will no doubt be several aftershocks in the coming days, as our dear UESiders find out just how much money they lost to Howard, and as news of Logan Hunter’s accident reaches the ears of even the lowest social climbers.

The ball has now concluded, so no new ball threads should be started. Any old or closed threads you wish to continue will be snooped on with excitement!

You’re more than welcome to post starters for your characters referencing or reacting to the events from the night before, but make sure to indicate that we’re on a different day.

We have new bios on the way, and some FC changes we’re going to be rolling out, so keep an eye out for updates about that on the main!
