There were noticeable differences. The sand between her toes wasn’t hot enough to run into the water to cool down. There wasn’t a boardwalk of people behind her, filled with a buzzing crowd of teenagers eating cotton candy and sporting belly button piercings. It was even chilly enough that she didn’t want to wear a swim suit. She loved the beaches home in California and The Hamptons couldn’t compare, but here she had Sam. That seemed to make up for all the differences in the world. And though her heart hurt when she glanced at him now, still reminded of the kiss between he and Juliette, Roni was going to push her way through the day. Like Georgina said earlier, did she wear this shade of lipstick for nothing?

“Touchdown.”

A smile was forced and she turned, flipping mermaid-like waves behind her as she waved at her boyfriend.

I think you should never say 'never'. You know how much I love comeback and I mean, come on. After everything, is this how Juliette-and-Sam's story ends? Polite, awkward, run-ins? Cyber stalking each other's Instas? Watching her fall further into the barbed wire that is a situationship with William Huntzberger? Watching him, like, what? Play football? Then again, it might not have been the smartest move for your crush on Sophia to almost kiss her sister, Scarlett Vandervort, back during #SinglesDay. If that wasn't a smart move, hooking up with her other sister, Sapphire Vandervort definitely wasn't. The Fairchild Ball sure was an eventful one for us all. So many Vandervorts so little time, hm? Just because you wanted to have your cakes and eat them too doesn't mean that you deserved what Nilay Levent did to you though. Remember when you were dating her? And she broke up with you, gently? Yeah, that wasn't actually her. Latife Levent might have played the 'super smart twin' card to play around with you for a while. When Latife (playing the part of Nilay) ghosted, the real Nilay couldn't have that on her reputation card. Hence, the sweet and kind break up. Yikes. I'll leave you there for now, Jake. The note I want to end on circles back to our hero, Jesse Walker, and our resident villain... William Hunztberger. Remember when you were trying to take me down? Planning, scheming, doing your little dance with me-- well, I told William that he better find a way to stop it. And next thing we knew, Jesse Walker had been hit with a car. Now this one I can't take all the credit for... Veronica Ravenwood was on a mission when she called Sam Watts out. Loudly, in front of everyone. There is a lot to unpack. A secret pregnancy? And all after Sam and Roni had called it quits (that kiss with Juliette Vanderbilt did help tip that house of cards). And you want to know something else? Big SPOTTED! I saw Juliette Vanderbilt and William Huntzberger leaving her apartment, together.

Well now... You don't have to be a genius to know that's a bad idea, right? Which means that I love it. I might be on the outs with all of you right now but even I won't deny I'm rooting for Juliette Vanderbilt returning to her messy era. Sam, who? And William Huntzberger. He barely needs an explanation... I can't wait to see the damage this is going to leave in its wake.
