Season 1 main theme from 台风眼/Eye of the Storm -- This song sounds like a cult-classic indie film: all the pieces are working together to tell the story of a great, tumultuous love that is too hard to keep but too precious to let go.

"A Stage for Romance" -- Main them from 唇齿之戏/The Plays of Lips and Teeth -- The energy takes a while to build up, but the traditional Chinese elements work wonderfully here, and the later parts get so fun and joyous, just like listening to xiangsheng!

归航 by 沈谧仁, 徐远书

"Returning Journey" -- Main theme for Cherish/钟情 -- Sweeping, dramatic, and romantic, it's such a perfect song for a space opera about an emperor's epic love story with his soulmate.

诸事莫问 by 郑希 倒霉死勒

Season 1 main theme (cast version) from 督主有病/Governor's Illness -- It sounds like the opening theme of a serious wuxia drama, full of energy and adventure. I can't put it to words but I just really like it.

鸣潜（主役版）by 陈张太康

Main them (cast version) from 六爻/Liu Yao: The Revitalization of Fuyao Sect, Audiobook version -- To complement the previous song, this melancholic ballad sounds exactly like the ending theme to a wuxia costume drama. Like I can already visualize those flower petal special effects and powerpoint transitions they will use for the video montage while the credits roll.

Second theme from 判官/Panguan Season 1 -- I have no idea what the novel is about, but the song sounds so sad but so careful, like everyone is trying to keep the same secret.

So my college is putting on the play Getting Near to Baby, a Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) piece where two sisters lose their baby sister and go to live with their aunt because their mom is grieving, and climb onto the roof to “get near to baby” in heaven. (It’s based on a book and I cried when I read the script, it’s so good) They are going to bus 5th and 6th graders up to campus to watch it, and My TYA class is in charge of the resource guide to the play. I designed the cover for the resource guide, which will include some lesson plans and other materials for the teachers, and I wanted to share because I love how it turned out.

This was recorded late fall 2017 using Pure Data. The leaves never changed color this year. They just died. A fitting anti-climax.
