Ace Attorney Best Case Tournament | Round 1, Part 9
3-5 | Bridge to the Turnabout
TGAA1-1 | The Adventure of the Great Departure
Sometimes I think about some western DGS fans complaining that the Brit in the game is "too racist" toward the Japanese. Still, the characters' attitude is not written that way just to provide struggle in the protagonist's story you know...
Even in real life, some people still demand everyone to give them an English alternative instead of learning to understand the content themselves. And, of course, there will always be someone who swoons over those people because they are "foreigners". TakuShu only took examples from such cases and then rewrote them in a dramatic lens, that's all.
Anyway I still find the way TakuShu wrote this scene crazy
Auchi: Um... Miss Brett. You could speak Japanese?
Jezail: Oh, it is obvious, isn't it? I'm... an international student after all.
The Judge: Then. Then why! What's with the "interpreter" and all that...!
Jezail: It would be distasteful for a lady to pollute (her) mouth with (your) vulgar language.
