Every time I see a fanwork depict John cucking Richard:

I don't know if anyone will get to see this but I'm so RichaJohn pilled right now after that FSF event and obsessing over too many medieval shows so I got this picture in my head of John petting his dogs on his seat at court, people are gathering. Then he hears gasps and whispers of people. He doesn't mind until he hears someone mentions Richard, then he inches his head to see what's the commotion about.

There Richard was, carrying his sword like it's made out of paper, drenched in a bit of blood, sweat, and maybe Idk, tears of some other people as he goes up in front to bow. Of course he gets scolded that he forgot to clean up but Richard reasons that he forgot when he was asked to get called at court because he went out early in the morning to do whatever shenanigans. People whispered and gasped at the state of him. John glared a little at the people but he could rarely take his eyes off Richard.

His brother may look like a disheveled mess but the way he strides himself like it's nothing, the confidence, that smile...John could feel his cheeks warm up as he looked away when Richard tried to meet his gaze. But he couldn't stop thinking how Richard looked at that morning for the rest of the day.

(Maaaaybeee OOC but I don't care I just thought of the mental image of John admiring and slightly being concerned but mostly kind of admiring Richard's confidence despite being drenched in blood or whatever. I may have watched too many medieval shows for this ngl....)
