Meliodas designed the tavern around Elizabeth
Meliodas isnt interested in any woman other than Elizabeth and thats why the uniform is so show off-y. Its also fits her perfectly, he knows her sizes and specifically had them tailored to them
Not to mention, he’s a wanted criminal, he’s not going to just hire anyone
Both of the uniforms also really resemble Goddess Elizabeths usual outfit- collars or open backed, neckties, short skirt (I know Og Elizabeths is technically a dress)
He also has two rooms. He already has his own and Hawk sleeps in the bar area. Again, he’s a criminal, he’s not gonna have guests over, but he had that second room added anyway.
There are also two chairs beside a table in Meliodas’ room. Obviously Hawk can’t sit on chairs and i really can’t imagine Meliodas sitting and having tea alone (Zeldris did, but theres booze downstairs why would he drink tea)
He didn’t know Elizabeth would need his help to save the kingdom, but he did know she would come to him eventually, so he shaped this life around her, so she could fit in, all he had to do was wait until she found him again.
