the whole tgre manga except chap 89 doesn’t exist.
I share your salt about Houji's death (╯︵╰,) I'm really disappointed that we never saw more about Houji and Seidou's relationship, no flashbacks or nothing :( literally ALL I wanted was fluffy flashbacks ╥﹏╥ well, and for Houji to rescue Seidou and give my poor owl child a much-needed hug╥﹏╥ Also!! I study genetics, and I've been wondering what sort of work/ research you do :)
I really hope, one way or another, we will be able to get some flashbacks. I am so sad that Houji [and Tatara] was not given the character development that he really deserves… and it was so shocking because sensei is always thoughtful about all of his characters.. I also share your pain about Seidou ;-;
As for my line of work, my previous research was related to genetics in the context of dermatology, precisely a disease known by Scarring Alopecia. At the moment my current research is about HIV ;w; though it’s a combination of genetics, virology, biochemistry and structural biology.
Oh but what if Houji hesitated when he was about to deliver a deadly attack to Seidou because he just couldn't bring himself to do it and Seidou took advantage of the brief moment of hesitation and killed him instead…
More salt.
okay Japan got the chapter
o ( - (
I am salty about several things in this chapter...
BUT WHY DID HOUJI HAVE TO FUCKING DIE OFFSCREEN LIKE WTF
I'm dissapointed too by Arima's action turning a blind eye on aogiri. I liked him from the start, but this revelation kind a made me change my view on him. I'd like to believe he had other plans or something, but then, it made sense if he indeed worked with Eto, afterall Eto seemed to know a LOT about current state of the garden, Washuu & V, which i doubt were acquired from Ukina's note only, and for that she must had an inside man, and as much as i dont want to believe it, Arima fitted the role
Ah, that’s not enough for me to change my opinion about him. Characters are complex. People seem to change opinions about Arima every single chapter. tbh I am so tired of explaining this post so I will not go there for the time being. Sorry for this.
As for him working with Eto, I don’t think it made sense at all, but that’s just me. It’s tempting to believe that all what Eto knows about the CCG/V/Washuus was information from Arima, but seeing that Arima was smart and shady enough to prepare all of this behind both CCG and V’s backs, it would have been stupid on his part to reveal information about the sunlit garden… he’d be exposing his own weakness and there is now way he would trust Eto & co. fully not to betray him. It’s kinda stupid and anticlimactic for someone who was revealed not to be as passive as most of the fandom seemed to think.
Of course, that doesn’t mean he didn’t do it; there is a large chance he did jusging by where Ishida-sensei is heading... I just personally don’t think it makes sense… and it will be another plot point I will be salty about… just like him being revealed to use Aogiri [when in reality, he could have managed on his own all too well]. Sorry, I have so much salt to dissolve.
