Having such a bad day I don’t care I don’t care I don’t care I’m posting this even tho it’s not “done” I DONT CARE. One of my first hollow drawings with that stupid ship meme, made this before I started the whole round 2 story, started it may 7th? Last significant progress was may 28th I think. I hate how weirdy’s eyes look so I covered it idc. Now I don’t even ship kainessa anymore (thank u lesbian Vanessa hc) BUT if anyone does I do like it as a QPR or just platonic besties

On the bottom left sketch it was going to be Reeve being flustered because Vanessa filled his face to the brim with smooches and you could tell cause there would be lipstick all over Reeve's face but I never made it past that so enjoy bald Reeve!

Last names I think The Hollow characters would have and my reasons (yes Kai’s explanation is significantly longer):

1. Adam Gomez

Gomez is a common spanish/Portuguese last name.

In reverse its Gomez Addams like the dad from the Addams family and I feel like Reeve and Kai would get a kick out of that.

Wasn’t comfortable giving him his actors last name which originates in a white family.

2. Mira Luo Jones

I just don’t like her voice actors last name which is Ball. Just Ball.

I feel like her dads would turn her original last name to her middle name, not to mention indulge her in southeast asian culture so she doesn’t lose it.

Luo means sea.

Jones just suits her and her dads look like Jones.

3. Kai Parnall/Kai Gonzalez Carpenter

Kept his actors last name because it fit perfectly.

I’ve already made a post about this but I do headcannon that Kai gets co-parented by Davis and Gustaf.

Davis is Davis Gonzalez, and Weirdy, Gustaf Carpenter. Changing Kais middle/last name to Gonzalez Carpenter.

Thought it’d be funny if his full name was a mouthful.

But bc of that, even though he loves holding Davis’s last name as his middle name, he’ll just introduce himself as Kai Carpenter.

4. Vanessa Kaarina-Martinez

The voice actors last name fits her just fine but if I had to choose I feel like Martinez would work too.

Martinez is a common French/Spanish surname and Kaarina is a Finnish name.

So lets say her mothers last name was Kaarina and her fathers was Martinez.

5. Skeet/Bernard Moss

His voice actors last name.

Literally perfect could not think of anything better.

Jewish, Irish, and English origins.

6. Reeve Barima

His voice actors last name.

His voice actors also black so I see nothing wrong with it.

Couldn’t find the origin though.
