BlitzOp would make sense in the All Spiders AU as with Arachnus feeling as the third wheel in the group he would agree to meeting with Blitzwing occasionally for more exclusive attention.

But because I like angst, consider this, Safety-Crash/Short-Stop in a version of the All Spiders AU.

Its an accident, of course, especially since Arachnus thought they were still infertile considering their mutated techno-organic body.

But in ether case its still an issue, maybe not so bad if Blitzwing was the one caring but considering that Blitzwing is still a loyal if stable Decepticon Arachnus might feel a certain way of his sparkling being raised as a Decepticon soldier.

But it's much, much more disastrous if Arachnus was the one carrying. They be so overwhelmed with guilt at potentially bring a new life into this mess. With Blackarachnia and Theraphos not making it any better, both just as mad and disappointed of Arachnus potentially having a sparkling, who could just end up as mutated and an outcast like they are.

Using my love of angst to tempt me to imagine mechpreg spider blitzop. I shall resist the brain worms. I am strong. But I shall ramble.

I think I'd agree with you in that the better scenario would be Blitzwing carrying. While they'd certainly be conflicted about it I don't think Zing and Bitz would have nearly as much angst with Arachnus as sire. Both in that they aren't as attached and as Arachnus is neutral and an outsider there isn't any implications of traitorous intent. As for Arachnus he is dead beat dad, he feels responsible for creating something monstrous and so would plead to Blitzwing to get an abortion. Whether Blitzwing actually does is a coin toss since Bitz might decide to carry because he felt like it while Zing would freak out about it or feel obligated to keep it to keep the peace.

Arachnus carrying however I propose the alternative that the spider trio wouldn't assume that Blitzwing was the sire. Which by extention would make all of them feel responsible and conflicted over it, leading to Arachnus actually wanting to raise Safetycrash in order to prove to Blackarachnia and Theraphos they had a future, until the moment Safetycrash is actually born and he realizes the family resemblance. Basically the darkest hour would be postponed until Safetycrash was already born.

In any case I think Crashstop would be born weak and severely underdeveloped, fitting into the palm of Arachnus' hand. Compared to a regular sparkling (which is able to walk and transform basically since birth but has to develop their software and hardware with exposure and resources) Crashstop would basically have the helplessness of a newborn rabbit, blind; deaf, and unable to thermo regulate, she has to have constant supervision to keep her alive. With more salt in the wound Crashstop's diet is extremely restrictive with many fuel options poisonous.

You joke but I think this would've been the most stable configuration of the trio. Like, these guys are so self loathing if left to their own devises they need to be together to balance each other out.

Starting with Blackarachnia, her issues would be immensely helped by having someone come back for her. Her self loathing is very tied to her abandonment so just having another person to care about her and to care for would stop her thoughts of "I can only rely on myself" before they took root.

Arachnus in my au (Not that I have introduced him yet) was too trusting of the Autobots. Unlike Blackarachnia he didn't believe the Autobots would hurt him and so turned to them for help and was consequently captured and tortured- which now wouldn't occur because Blackarachnia knows better.

For Sentinel Prime (He needs a spider name so bad) he has a lot of the risk factors of Blackarachnia and Arachnus as he spirals a lot with power and really needs someone to keep him in check. Which the two of them can do in spades.

I'd imagine they are a trio of neutrals trying to undo this transformation to the best of their ability. Arachnus doesn't like that they trade and to odd jobs for the Decepticons but Blackarachnia is a lot more willing to go the "whatever it takes" route. Sentinel is the asshole glue to keep them together though because he's just a good damsel in distress and they're like "We cannot break up the team or Sentinel is going to go and die somewhere."

I think you may be overestimating Blitzwing's ability to handle things like teen issues. Shortstop DOES have a hard time with the Decepticons but Blitzwing trying to help often falls short. Wings is probably the closest to reassuring but he often misunderstands her feelings because they're too emotional to be logically solved.

Each ref will have two versions of the character: a Decepticon!Wasp timeline version, and an Autobot!Wasp timeline version. Some characters are deceased, and that will be noted. Also noted will be the children they have, whether by spark, code, or honorary, and if they’ve had any miscarriages or otherwise failed gestations~ I’ve been wanting to work on these references pages for a while I’ve just needed a final push for it.. 😵‍💫
