Sooo...
I'm watching the behind the scenes for all of The Hobbit movies and... I think... I may... Be falling for...
Richard Armitage!
He's just so nice and he's so into his character and I just... He's just... Really cool!

battle of the five armies always makes me sad (but i love it so much) and my sad brain is thinking about what if bilbo stayed there for hours with thorin's body, like tauriel had with kili's. like, holding his hand to his chest to feel the last tinges of warmth escape then start to freeze over, running his fingers through those black curls since it was something he wanted to do since the beginning, anything to try to calm himself down (spoiler: doesn't work; he's far too shaken and broken inside). eventually, he's cried so much, he just falls asleep. he still has thorin's hand in his and he's slumped onto thorin's shoulder. the surviving members of the company try not to be too loud and make him stir; he still does and everyone just hurts worse, especially bilbo, when he wakes up and realized where he had been laying. then back in the shire, he tries to scour through all that he brought back just for something that thorin touched or smelt like him; just something to keep with him as a reminder. if he still has the acorn, then certainly that as well,
thorin, holding a coat of mithril: come here, master baggins!
bilbo:
so i finally finished reading the hobbit and whoever said thorin's death in the book is simply poetic was entirely right. like of course it got across that bilbo was still upset about it but it doesnt have the same like feeling of significance or heart wrench that th:bofta did playing it out
bilbo grieving in the end of the movie gets me EVERY gotdamn time
i forgot that the way bilbo says like "the dwarf i met in bagg-end would never go back on his word, or doubt his kinship" and stuff sounds like he's angry and fed up with his bf and tbh he is
thorin, after failing to negotiate with bard: BEGONE THOT
Am I the only one who saw the teaser and just felt... sad?
